NH Collection Budapest City Center

Budapest|0.9km from Robert Capa Contemporary Photography Center

The NH Collection Budapest City Center provided a decent stay for my first (and hopefully not last) visit to Budapest, Hungary. I stayed nine nights in November 2021 and opted for one of the residence apartments with a second floor. The amount of space provided was impressive. Loved having a balcony on both floors. Did not use the smaller bath downstairs very much. The apartment provided a microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher and combination clothes washer/dryer. I was very pleased with he amenities offered in the apartment. I was very happy that the upstairs bathroom had a shower, which did NOT leak! Many other hotels are installing showers with a completely useless half shower door. The upstairs shower was a full enclosure and did not suffer an extremely wet floor with damp towels after showering. Bravo NH Collection Budapest City Center! The staff at the hotel were very helpful and I very much appreciated that the breakfast staff did not turn guests away if they showed up for breakfast after breakfast had ended. Guests were still allowed to have breakfast as long as food items were still available to be taken. However, after a few days, the breakfast options are a bit boring (same every day). The coffee is outstanding and offered all day long. Cookies and other snacks are available as well. I noticed that the business center computers still had Windows 7 installed?! Perhaps change that and update the operating system on the computers. Needless to stay, I did not use those computers. As others have mentioned, the hotel is within walking distance to an accessible MTS underground train station, Lidl grocery, the New York Cafe and a very good burger restaurant (Vaslap). All things considered, I would probably consider staying again or recommend to others opting to visit Budapest. Hope this review helps!

Bliss Residence & Spa

We had a great time at Bliss Hotel. Arrived 4 hours before check time. No problem storing our bags. The hotel is very well placed for sightseeing. Turn left from front door and it’s about 20 mins to River Danube and all the amazing sights it offers on both sides of the river. Turn right from front door and a few turns more and it’s a very pleasant walk 35 mins to the famous thermal baths. Our room was great, bright n roomy, v comfortable bed, great shower, good fridge. Breakfasts were excellent, v extensive range of hot and cold foods, breads, pastries, champagne, great coffee. Really set up us for the day. Pool, sauna, jacuzzi etc excellent n free. Some quirky bars nearby, mostly downstairs, you have to look out for them. We never made it into one pub called The Lost 36. Wanted to but it wasn’t open when we wanted to go. We used Minibud (on Budapest tour n guide app) to transfer from the airport and back. Very reliable. Give yourself plenty of time to get back to airport. Lots of renovation work going on and traffic jams, roads closed as a result. Sat for 30 mins waitin for cement to get poured into hole in road. Hope this helps you enjoy Budapest as much as we did.

We both loved everything about the apartment. Good position, spotless rooms, very comfortable beds, all the facilities we needed. We found it easy to get to places of interest and great choice of restaurants and bars. The self checking in early hours of the morning easy following the given instructions. The young lady on reception was a pleasure to meet, very helpful and welcoming. We would definitely recommend and will return.
Ambra Hotel

The best value for money hotel in the entire European trip. Facilities: The layout is very warm. It only takes a short walk from the commercial street and the subway entrance to the Danube River or the bridge in less than half an hour. There are also convenient restaurants around. Hygiene: It is very clean every day, and the bathroom has a lot of water. I am satisfied. Service: The front desk and the waiter who replenishes breakfast are very enthusiastic and greet with a smile. In the morning, champagne is prepared on the first floor for guests to enjoy for free. A note says that it is to make guests feel good for the day. There are also biscuits and tea after 2 pm. I will come again if I have the chance and recommend it to my friends. The breakfast is also rich and perfect👍 It’s a pity that there is only one photo on this phone. I will make up for it when I have time.

Good value hotel in the city centre in a nice vibrant area that felt safe after dark. Room although facing a side street was quite quiet. The room was very clean and there was an excellent powerful shower in the well equipped en-suite bathroom. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful and it was easy to access building using a key code. Only minor negative was when the room was cleaned, on two occasions, the coffee and/or milk was not replaced. Would happily stay again.
W Budapest

The perfect W Hotel is located opposite the famous Opera House. It turned out that the last time I passed by it, it was still being renovated. The appearance is already happy. It is a 19th-century neoclassical building with fresh pink and blue ~ the carvings of the building are more three-dimensional and the window grilles are more three-dimensional. of beauty. Entering the hotel is really a big surprise. The atriums of the two buildings are enclosed, and the whole is transparent and tall. The lighting during the day and night will be gorgeous; on the left is the rest area, and on the right is the multi-functional restaurant, with various blue elements. The decoration is both classical and sophisticated as well as modern and fashionable; The entire building here is a work of art, with many details including stairs, marble parquet floors, arched corridors, and large flower windows. . In the room, the designer has used elements to the extreme. Large and small squares of contrasting colors are not spliced with various materials. Different pink and blue colors are used in the bedroom, which is fresh, fashionable and comfortable. The dinner business is very good. It’s a gathering place for young people. It’s the Spring Festival holiday and it actually has Chinese cuisine; every waiter is beautiful, young and enthusiastic.
