We arrived Wednesday 23rd March 2022 and stayed for a few days . The pictures on the nets are very app. The pods are very cute and the heated floor warms the the pods nicely. If you are one for Glamping then the novelty of the pods will just right right for you. There are adequate cooking utensils for the barbecue and the barbecue grill and gas is provided. There are 16 pods with a small toilet and wet shower on the outside. The outside shower only gets Luke warm which is stated in the itinerary and there is nowhere to hang your clothes unless you want them wet as well..alternatively there is a shared bath and shower room where the shower is beautifully hot so there is an option. The Gentleman running the Pods Peter was always on call for our needs and was able to tell us that the grounds consist of 27 acres of land , there is also tree house and camper vans and cottages to rent a perfect place for a wedding party or yoga retreat hosting a hundred people or so but you would have to book this well in advance as the place can get busy at certain periods of the year. I would definitely go again and try one of his other accommodations such as the tree house. The wild life is also great to wake up to especially the cockerel and the sight of the peacock. one other thing to note is there are no electric sockets in the room which might not surprise the most ardent Glampers but the host allowed me to charge my laptop in reception.

Absolutely awful experience and disgusting customer service. Paid for the tree house which after one night was leaking from the rain so we had to be moved (we were not informed before hand that this could leak in bad weather and there is electrics in the room with no signs telling you not to move them due to water etc), the owners were ‘in town’ when we called so had to wait around for them to arrive back to see the situation, they were not surprised and it was immediately clear this happens a lot (looking into reviews afterwards it definitely does) so we were offered to move to a pod but had to wait 2 hours for it to be cleaned, we then received a text where we were offered £15 back from the £375 we had spent even tho we now had a cheaper accommodation and less appliances than we had paid for. When we disputed this one when leaving and asked for the £60 difference in cost between a pod and the treehouse, We were told ‘they can’t control the weather’, ‘if you were on a boat you would expect to get wet’, ‘you’re staying in a treehouse what do you expect’, you chose to move to the pod, you could have stayed in the treehouse’.. let me add here that there was torrential rain this weekend and a literal thunderstorm, the tree house was leaking, swaying and banging.. it would not have been safe or comfortable to be there, in the space of 10 minutes rain we already had to place a jug down and 2 towels to stem the leak. We spent 20 minutes making perfectly valid points and explaining why we felt £15 was not an adequate refund for a holiday that we had paid almost £400 for and then not received as advertised. The owner couldn’t have cared less, did not apologise once, called my partner stupid and then CALLED THE POLICE FOR HARASSMENT!! I have never in my life received such disgusting service, luckily I was recording the entire conversation, not a single aggressive word was said, no threats, no swearing, just a couple who were asking for the £60 difference back for staying in a pod (which would have cost £315) instead of a treehouse (which cost £375). We waited for police to arrive but unfortunately I had to get back home for work, have not heard anything yet as this was yesterday but I assure you I will be following this up.

Camping made easy. Lovely peaceful location, short drive to bude beach, it is fab, nice and easy to park, good choice of shops and cafes in town and if you go to the left of beach over the breakwater there is amazing rock formations and view points. So nice having own wet room, shower was nice and hot, and decking means no grass traipsing in. So cosy and warm. Great place for quiet family holiday.

We had booked to stay in the treehouse for 3 nights but left after 2. When we got to the treehouse, it had very pretty views but was definitely in need of some love. The treehouse had not been cleaned at all; there was food on the side from the last guests and stains on the bed sheets. Feeling rather unclean we went for a shower only to find it was luke warm so still felt unclean. The roof also had a hole in it which was making a noise making it impossible to sleep! There was no curtain so at first light, your awake. We tried to find someone at reception on 4 attempts before we gave in and wrote an email, this was replied with a text saying pod was available. Having eventually found someone to speak to as reception was never staffed, they offered us replacement accommodation in one of the pods, however completely disregarding our issue of cleanliness and kept reiterating that they couldn’t do anything about light coming in but there was no curtain so this was easy solvable We moved to the pod, this seemed nice enough. The treehouse had plug sockets but the pods did not, bit we were aware this was part of a fab idea to stay eco friendly. There were boards to cover the windows which was a great idea. The shower was also lovely and warm. BUT the bed sheets had stains on them again. We tried to find the owner again but no sign of them so we sent a follow up email and left the site as we did not want to try a third accommodation to find uncleanliness again! The owner replied to this saying we were being pedantic and ‘i do not think you would have been happy in any garden environment’ even though we have stayed in many a quirky glamping location and have been wild camping last year. Telling their customers their concerns (especially over cleanliness in a COVID-19 world) are invalid is not the way to resolve issues, only to ensure they won’t return. There was absolutely no apology in person, only a ‘sorry you couldn’t find us’ apology on email. We read some reviews commenting on the poor customer service and they are all absolutely correct! All in all, it was disgustingly dirty and the customer service was APALLING! Still waiting on our refund.

We had an amazing time, so peaceful and relaxing. The bed and pillows were super comfy. Nothing was to much trouble we were even supplied with some wood and lighters to have a lovely camp fire. Staying in November it was still really warm and cosy in the pod. All equipment that you need is provided and a good sized fridge to keep your food in. Would definitely recommend any time of the year. Really peaceful lovely place to relax and wind down.

Very disappointing stay, we stayed in the treehouse thinking it would nice for me and my husband who only got married a few days previously. Firstly the toilet didn’t flush, then the hot water in the shower wasn’t working, the photos of the tree house and the actual reality of it were very different, the bed was very uncomfortable and the interior looked quite run down. I definitely wouldn’t stay again.

If I had written this review on our first day I would have given it a 1 star. We arrived at 4.30(arrival between 4-6) with 2 young children and they weren't there to let us in our pod. We called the number and he said someone would meet us at the pods. Eventually someone came after another phonecall and asked us what pod we were in and seemed confused that we didn't know. be aware you can't take your car to the pod so we had many many trips taking stuff for 5 nights with 2 small children. It turned out to be lovely that there were no cars so could relax and let the little ones run around but annoying after a long day of traveling to have to do a chore. Our gas barbecue didn't work, luckily we took our own stoves, the crockery was dirty so had to wash it up before we cooked and there was no hot water and our outside lights didn't work. Having said all of this, a quick chat with the lovely lady in reception the next morning and everything was dealt with. I get the feeling the owner has these pods and doesn't really want to have anything to do with it while all the other staff members were brilliantly helpful. The shower was ok once they sorted it, but I recommend going to the showers in the camp field a short walk away. Much better, hotter and more space! We had a really lovely stay and is a good place to use as a base for travelling to other parts of Cornwall.

Best last minute weekend vacation we've had. This way exceeded expectations, and was so reasonably priced. The pods are warm, cosy, clean and really comfortable. The bed was great, the big cushions to just relax and read out in the sunshine were brilliant. The owners were welcoming and helpful and it's situated so close to Bude its ideal. I imagine this would be an amazing place to have a whole family too with animals, play areas, and cosy fire pit. The bathroom was ideal along with the outdoor spaces. We're already booking up our next visit..... The only suggestions I will think of for our next trip will be to bring some simple games like boules or frisbee etc as there are lovely open spaces as its a great place to just relax. My only suggestion to the owners would be to perhaps have slightly more substantial rubbish bins, like metal ones, at each pods as the larger birds were attracted to come and rip the bin bags apart leaving a clear up each morning. Certainly not a complaint but might be worth a thought. We cant wait to return. Stuart & Naomi.

I stayed with my wife and 15 yr old son and 12 yr old daughter. Such a nice area and wonderful facilities. The pod it self was perfect for a 3 night stay and included a lot more amenities than we expected. Easy parking and the hot shower was a bonus after long beach days.
