It meets my expectations very clean hotel, nice staff and also in a great location

Good but expensive

This is a lovely, friendly hotel. We had a week in Budva with Jet 2 and it was a very good experience. The staff make this place....from Reception to maintenance they were efficient, helpful and smiley. They all seem to speak very good English too. On arrival we found our balcony door wouldn't open and there was a flickering light in the room and only one bedside light worked. We reported it to reception and were told someone will come in the next 10 minutes. The guy turned up within that time, and all 3 problems were sorted with courtesy and efficiency. On a couple of occasions we needed directions and reception staff went out of their way to help. The dining room staff and bar staff were all very customer focussed, friendly and efficient, and made a point of remembering that I prefer my tea bag separate, not in the pot, for example. I would like to single out the following staff for particular praise: Jelina in the dining room (my fried egg lady) The delightful Bojana and her boss George, from customer relations. Sara in the bar Whoever cleaned our room (we never saw her!) The beds were comfy, the shower worked well, we didn't have much of a view ( we were at the side) but the hotel was spotless. Just a couple of minor negatives : The food was a bit repetitive, and I'd have liked a pancake station for breakfast, but the space was quite limited so wouldn't be possible. The salads were good but there was ham and cheese to accompany every night...some smoked salmon or tuna would have been welcome, as would more varied vegetables. We were told that it was 10 minutes walk to the Old Town (Stari Grad) along the promenade. I am, I accept, aged 70 with not great knees and it took me much longer but I doubt anyone could walk it in less than 20. We also caught the bus there - conveniently the bus stop is right outside the hotel. However, it takes you maybe half way and you have to walk the rest. I would just like anyone with walking difficulties to take note of that. Altogether a really good stay and a lovely a**osphere in the hotel.

Fabulous hotel, rooms are very spacious and has everything you need, including robe/slippers/mini bar/kettle/coffee machine/hair dryer. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful, especially the female staff. Suzana was so helpful with various questions we had during our stay and couldn’t have been anymore helpful. Ask the hotel to order you a taxi as if you go the taxi rank they charge 4 times the amount. Breakfast was ok, they have an egg cooking station, tinned fruit, pastries, fresh bread, Brussel sprouts!! Etc. There is something for everyone. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
