Hotel Bracera

The hotel is very comfortable

It completely met my expectations. Spacious rooms, nice bathroom, bidet in the toilet, good breakfast, excellent staff, cleaning every day, they even collected my belongings every day. A nice large balcony. It's just an indoor pool, different from the photos, but we didn't need it.

Located in a central area, a stone's throw from the old city, the hotel is clean, the rooms are spacious and all the staff are very kind and helpful. What lowered my average rating was the dinner, which unfortunately I had included in the package. There were seven dinners, the majority of which were self-service with food that was always repetitive and not of good quality, very little choice, sometimes with things already present at breakfast (Russian salad), the fruit most of the time still unripe. Sin!

Comfortable, clean and modern rooms. Presence of a balcony but direct view of the very close buildings, too bad! Excellent breakfast, but small terrace close to the buildings again.. The staff was unwelcoming, did not speak or spoke very little. Interesting location for entertainment: close to the seafront and the port.

Upon arrival we were kindly received by the reception and we were immediately helped to park our car safely (free) in the underground (small) parking lot. Reservations recommended. Since we had chosen half board, we offered ourselves in the restaurant. The tables had no glasses or place settings, no plates, ... We noticed that no one was drinking wine and we also found no wine list. Not much style for a four-star hotel! We went to the buffet and noticed that we could only drink water. The buffet was presented in large kitchen furniture (iron warming trays). We first took the soup, which was lukewarm. Then carrots, which were boiled in water, but unfortunately under-cooked and insufficiently seasoned. The meat was also lukewarm and tasteless. The offer did not look appetizing. We saw that the limited dessert had not been replenished, and the few pieces of cake (next to all those empty chairs) did not look pleasant. We haven't tasted that anymore. The waiters did not show the customer friendliness we saw at the reception. The breakfast buffet was extensive, but we have had much better breakfast buffets in other hotels in Montengro than in this hotel. (the presentation and quality offer must be better for a 4 star hotel) We appreciate that, at our simple request, we could convert our stay from a half-board formula to a room with breakfast. The room and bathroom are in order, but no possibility to drink coffee or tea and a limited supply of bathroom amenities. The room was neatly maintained every day and provided with clean towels. Big terrace. Side view of the sea, but not a nice view in itself because you are in the middle of the city and all around you have hotels and buildings. Centrally located, within walking distance of the old town. Friendly management, but all in all a cool large hotel without much personal touch. We think the price of Hotel Bracera is too high for what it is and we do not think it is a four-star hotel. Dinner in particular, and to a lesser extent breakfast, means that we unfortunately cannot give a favorable review. !
