Hotel El Molino de Pancorbo
3.5/510 Reviews
Visit in passing, located by chance through Booking..., absolute success! From the reception attention to the cordiality of the ”chat” with Jenson in the cafeteria..., a pleasant and cordial stay. Rooms more than correct…, impeccable. Free parking in front of the hotel, suitable even for trucks. To highlight how warm the room was and the breakfast toast. Of those ”unicorn” places, that know how to distinguish between potato omelettes..., they do both in case you have onions or not! Confirmed the recent management change, with a new approach 100% customer oriented and keeping its rates affordable.
Rice Bulevar

The Bulevar is a modern high rise hotel, close to the city centre. The room was clean with an en suite with soap dispensers and facial soap. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A map was provided and places where we could have dinner. They were more than happy to print out our forms required for our trip back to the UK. You can park outside the Hotel to check in. Then you are directed to the underground garage where there are lifts to take you up to your floor.
Hotel Maria Luisa

This is quite a quirky hotel, very different in many aspects. Especially the decor was unexpected. However, our room was great with a decent size bath and big windows which were nice. It was also quiet although it faced the street. One thing that bothered us in the room was a strange security light that, in the dark, was really bright. The breakfast was so-so. That I wouldn't recommend. The best part was the service, though. The man at the reception was very kind and professional!
Hotel Rural la Puebla

This hotel is in a beautiful and quiet area in Valle de Sedano, near a waterfall. The hotel itself is quaint and rustic. The staff are very nice and friendly. The younger staff, the young men, speak English, which is really appreciated as it’s not always the case in Spain, and not all of us speak Spanish. The room we were given was a bit smaller than the photos, but still comfortable. The ceilings are low on the top floors, so watch your head. The only thing I can say negative about this hotel is that there is no parking possible nearby as it it up on a hill with very narrow uphill streets to get there. You have to leave your car at the bottom of the hill outside the village and climb up by foot to the top. Yes, their website stipulates this but not on the Trip.com website. As my husband is a civil handicapped person, we were exceptionally able to arrange to leave our car near the hotel for our short stay, but it was REALLY exceptional. If you are handicapped or mobility reduced, you shouldn’t stay there, unfortunately. Anyway, the drive up to and down from the hotel on those unbelievably narrow maze of streets is really too stressful. I don’t recommend it. But if you are otherwise young and fit, I highly recommend it. It’s peaceful, beautiful, amazing scenery, good food and friendly staff.

Hotel Milagros Rio Riaza

Literally in the middle of nowhere you’ll come across this small hotel/ motel. Manned by just the one person , you’re greeted with a smile and shown to your room. As we had dogs with us we had a ground floor room overlooking the car park , which was good as the car was full of belongings , so we could keep an eye on it. The bedrooms were a little basic, and the bathroom looked fairly new. For the price paid we had no complaints. Finding somewhere to eat was easy, and I’d recommend the restaurant opposite the hotel at the other end of the car park . Go for the quarter of a suckling lamb, 40 euros but enough for two…superb! All in all a stress free stopover which I would certainly visit again.
