Best Western Plus Burnaby Hotel

Very nice and clean, quiet, despite being on Kingsway which is busy, nice substantial breakfast and very friendly service. Our third time staying here and we will be back.

The room was less clean with some long hair on the floor.

Sit in the suburban area southeast of Vancouver downtown, a convenient location. Hotel is well decorated. Great credit to the collaboaration to the next door restaurant to provide breakfast service. I enjoyed the full breakfast.

THERE WAS A BATHTUB /SHOWER BUT NO PLUG TO ALLOW USE OF THE TUB THE KEY FOR THE DOOR WAS NOT AVAILABLE AT CHECK IN SO EVERYTIME YOU WENT OUT YOU HAD TO HAVE SOME ONE WALK YOU BACK TO YOUR ROOM SO THEY COULD OPEN THE DOOR UNABLE TO CONTROL THE A/C IN THE ROOM SO AT ONE POINT IT WAS 76 DEGREES IN THE ROOM THE LIGHT FROM THE THERMOSTAT WAS SO BRIGHT IT LIT UP THE ROOM ALL NIGHT AND MADE IT DIFFICULT TO SLEEP HALF OF THE CHANNELS LISTED ON THE TV WERE UNABLE TO BE USED AS IT APPEARED THAT YOU HAD TO PAY EXTRA FOR THEM THE COFFEE MACHINE MADE AN INCREDABLE AMOUNT OF NOISE AND ONLY PRODUCED 1/2 CUP OF COFFEE THE CUPS WERE WAY TOO BIG FOR THE MACHINE SO YOU HAD TO HOLD IT AT AN ANGLE IN ORDER TO HAVE THE COFFEE GET IN THE CUP THE SHAMPOO -- BODY WASH AND CONDITIONER WERE SO SMALL THERE WAS NOT ENOUGH LIQUID FOR ONE PERSON LET ALONE TWO PEOPLE THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A PLUS MOTEL BUT MORE LIKE A MINUS FIVE MOTEL HAVE ENJOYED MANY OTHER BEST WESTERNS ACROSS BC OVER THE YEARS AND THIS WAS BY FAR THE WORST THE MORNING BREAKFAST WAS VERY GOOD BUT DID NOT MAKE UP FOR THE REST OF THE PROBLEMS

The hotel is a nice and comfortable one. I stayed in a room with 2 beds, still feeling spacious. There are also plenty of parking space in the hotel. There are many restaurants around the hotel. It is just around 25 minutes walk to the shopping mall in Metrotown in Burnaby. The closest sky train station Royal Oak Station is just 15 minutes walk. I have 3 comments/suggestions to the hotel to improve the service. 1. The noise of the air-conditioner in the room is a bit loud; 2. I think check-in time at 4pm is a bit late; 3 . I prefer shower gel to soap bar in the bathroom.

The air conditioner needs special attention to operate. It's not fair to the customers that there was no electricity on the first night. The hotel should inform us when receiving our booking so that we can decide to stay or not

Good little spot. Breakfast was better than we’ve had in other places, more options than just yogurt and toast.

Stay 1 night for business trip - Its location is good with convenient parking space. The rooms were clean and basic amenities are available. Highly recommend to request a top floor room if you don't want to hear people walking above you. Free breakfast was OK since we did not expect too much.

Everything from the room to breakfast to location was very good.
