"The rooms are new, the location is excellent/convenient, and the front desk service is also great. This hotel is a rare find in Vancouver."

"Remember this hotel is a Holiday Inn ”Express” and hence customers should have lower expectations. Its breakfast, housekeeping standard and front desk experience were not as good as an average hotel. There was a strand of ”private” hair on the soap dish in the bathtub. Its policy regarding late check-out was unnecessarily complicated. My room was not vacuumed for my entire 12-day stay. Despite the 12-night stay, my requests for a late checkout could not be entertained until the day of departure when I had to specially wake up at 6 am and call the front desk. Because my phone call was not answered, I then had to approach the front receptionist in person to ask for a late checkout and negotiated with the receptionist (who seemingly just woken up) for more than 5 minutes before he reluctuantly agreed to my request to check out at 2 pm. I will try Hilton Metrotown (Crystal Mall) for my next visit."

"The room was booked for my son and his family including a 10 months old baby. I have stayed in this hotel for many times and this time we were assigned to the 27th floor which the King one bedroom suite is much smaller than we used to stay. This was really out of our expectation since we have rented several baby products such as play pan, car seat etc and there are not enough space for us to settle them in the room."

"The hotel had a lot of outside work going on. The noise wouldn’t stop from 9:00 am onward and was very annoying. You couldn’t even stay in your room and had to get out to avoid the noise. The sauna and hot tub was not even working. Didn’t enjoy much"

"We stayed at the Hilton Railtown Hotel for 5 nights this time. Since our son joined us from Toronto on the third day, we switched to a king suite with a sofa bed. The room was noticeably larger and more spacious, with a separate living area. When the sofa bed was pulled out at night, it was quite large, though it was a bit soft, and our son mentioned his back felt uncomfortable after sleeping on it for three nights. The suite had a microwave, which was very convenient for heating up food occasionally. The hotel's front desk staff were very welcoming and helpful. Since we had to re-check in due to the room change, we needed to store our luggage. The lobby staff helped us arrange everything, allowing us to go out and enjoy ourselves without any worries. When we returned in the evening, we could just grab our room key and head straight to our room to rest. Finally, checking out was very convenient. Because we had booked and paid in advance through Ctrip, we simply handed in our key at the front desk in the lobby and could leave. The 50 CAD deposit per night was also refunded immediately after check-out. 👍"

"The hotel is a nice and comfortable one. I stayed in a room with 2 beds, still feeling spacious. There are also plenty of parking space in the hotel. There are many restaurants around the hotel. It is just around 25 minutes walk to the shopping mall in Metrotown in Burnaby. The closest sky train station Royal Oak Station is just 15 minutes walk. I have 3 comments/suggestions to the hotel to improve the service. 1. The noise of the air-conditioner in the room is a bit loud; 2. I think check-in time at 4pm is a bit late; 3 . I prefer shower gel to soap bar in the bathroom."

"The standard room was very well-appointed, and the building itself has two floors. The surrounding area is dotted with many car dealerships, and unfortunately, there's no supermarket. On the bright side, a McDonald's is just a short walk away."

"This cozy suite is located in a very convenient area close to Walmart/ T&T and many restaurants nearby. The only downside is that the walls are a bit thin; you may be bothered by another suite if the guests speak loudly."
