The location is fantastic, practically right outside the station across a small road. And for under 400 a night including breakfast, the price is incredibly fair. Although the room is small, it's very well-utilized. As long as you don't have oversized luggage, it's perfectly fine for two people.

The hotel room is small but is fully equipped and location is very convenient. Just located beside the metro, ktx and taxi station. Breakfast was good. Nearby got lots of eateries and Chinatown is just opposite.

Check-in time was around 10:00-10:30 PM on December 24, 2025. The front desk receptionist was a short-haired woman wearing glasses. After completing check-in, we were assigned to a room on the 20th floor and received the key card. We followed the instructions at the elevator to tap the card, but both high-floor elevators showed red lights with unresponsive buttons. When we informed the receptionist, she tapped it herself—same red light—but assured us the card was fine, so we believed her. Luckily, other guests were heading up, so we reached the 20th floor, but the room door wouldn’t unlock either, forcing us back downstairs. This time, another receptionist quickly identified the issue: the key card hadn’t been activated. Additionally, the bed was deformed. This accommodation experience was enough for once—we won’t stay at Toyoko Inn again.
The hotel breakfast lacks variety, with poor flow and crowded seating.

This location is really great for independent travelers. Busan Station is right next door, making it super convenient to take the KTX to Seoul. For other destinations, you can catch a bus right across the street – incredibly convenient! They also have Chinese-speaking staff and can understand English.

Toyoko Inn Busan Station No.1 is conveniently located right across the street from Busan Station, so the location really couldn’t be better. There are also self-service luggage lockers in the lobby on the first floor; guests can ask the front desk for the access code.
This time I stayed in a double room with one bed. To be honest, it felt quite small if you're group of two, but considering the price, it was acceptable. Unfortunately, on the morning of checkout, there was an issue where only hot water was available and no cold water, which was a bit disappointing.
