Best Western Plus Buxton Lee Wood Hotel

Booked in to attend a concert at the opera house. Check in was very welcoming and efficient. Room was large with a comfortable large bed. Full english breakfast was individually cooked to order with waitress service.

The first thing you see is this splendid Peak District house. Our welcome by Matthew and Willow was perfect. We felt relaxed walking through the door. The room was great , felt spacious and smart. Loads of hot water for a gooood shower. Really enjoyed dining in the conservatory. Kim was a brilliant waitress. Loved breakfast , can’t wait to come back.

Had a very enjoyable one night stay at the Best Western Buxton. Stayed in a deluxe room on the first floor which was really spacious and well presented. Probably the largest hotel room I have stayed in. everything was spotless and clean. I would highly recommend. Breakfast was great and all the staff very friendly and helpful.

What a great place to stay ... lovely hotel , amazingly large, clean and modern room. The check in receptionist was excellent , very pleasant and helpful. Lovely area close to town. Attention to detail in the room was spot on .. and amazingly clean. .Buxton is a lovely area and you wouldn't go wrong with staying here .. very good value for money , I have stayed in many hotels with my work and this rates higher in my opinion than some of the hiltons etc I have stayed at. 5 stars 🌟

Just back from staying in the Leewood hotel for a party of 33 people. The hotel was excellent, and eveyone commented on how nice the rooms were, the breakfast was great, and the staff very helpful. It's also in a great location. We will definitely use the hotel again if back in Buxton and I definitely recommend it.

Room 4 poor bathroom needs updating old furniture out of date sockets and switches old gold with rope design bottom of rad taped up with sellotape toilet roll holder hanging of mucky walls bottom of shower screen fell of when opening and was filthy 90s terracotta carpets in the hallway just so out dated in many aspects for £175 a night pictures to follow

Great hotel in lovely surroundings. The room was lovely and spacious. Very comfortable bed . Immaculately clean. Staff really helpful. The only difficulty was parking. The car park is small but there is room on the road. I would certainly return and recommend Lee Wood.

This hotel is housed in a beautiful old building. Despite the floor boards being a little creaky at times, I couldn’t fault the facilities. The rooms were a bit small but that didn’t matter. The staff were friendly and professional and went out of their way to make us feel at home. The food in the restaurant was very good too.

A wonderful old hotel with loads of character; meals are excellent; rooms are very comfortable; staff are so helpful; easy to walk down into the town
