9 Green Lane Bed and Breakfast

Only a relatively short walk in to Buxton. We had a great stay everything was spot on. The room was excellent. Bed was also very comfortable. There was a generous supply of tea and coffee. The cooked breakfast was also very good and there was a good selection of cereals too.

Immaculately kept Victorian b an b in a quiet part of Buxton,about 15 mins walk from the town centre,Impossible to fault.My bedroom was of a decent size and the bathroom had a bath,yes a real bath!The owners were very welcoming and free parking is either in the house grounds or in the quiet street outside.For me the word` breakfast` in b and b is the most important part and here it is of very high quality.There are Dorset ceraels,fresh fruit salad, Yeo Valley yogurt and Tiptree jams and the vast scrambled eggs and smoked salmon is enough to last you the day.With a cafetiere of coffee and good bread you won`t find a better start to the day. You need to know that there is no sitting room although I suppose you could always go into the attractive breakfsat room.Dont expect to knock on the door and find a vacancy so book ahead.

Our room was spacious, comfortable and well provisioned. Breakfast each morning was excellent with a comprehensive range of freshly prepared and cooked items. We stayed here for two nights in order to attend an opera during Buxton’s Festival. I think I must have booked after reading the TripAdvisor reviews and we were not disappointed. Rupert and Caroline were very welcoming; we had a comfortable room on the ground floor, with a feature not always evident in many. B and Bs, namely more than one chair in the room! In fact we had 3! Parking was easy, we didn’t use our car at all, as we found the walk into town was not too long. I must also mention the delicious breakfasts at any time from 08.00 to 09.30. Should we return to Buxton this us where we shall stay.

Stayed here on a golf trip for a few days with friends. Very clean, great breakfast and excellent value for money. Good location for nearby pubs. Great base for our golf trip and would certainly return in the future. Our hosts were very welcoming

Fantastic two nights spent at 9 Green Lane, Buxton. Lovely room and the breakfast cannot be bettered. Buxton is a lovely town. Ate at The Cheshire Cheese which is a lovely pub and very good food. Buxton is a lovely town.

B&B is in a really good location, everything within walking distance to the centre of Buxton. Room was clean and comfortable, though only one pillow each was provided in the room. Breakfast was really good and the female owner was friendly and accommodating.

Stayed for the weekend, breakfast is really tasty, fresh made for the individual and there is a good choice. We stayed during a winter storm, the rooms were lovely, cosy and warm, despite it bring minus temperature. Rupert, the owner, kindly braved the icy temperatures and cleared the snow off all the guests cars, what a trooper. Rooms are clean and well furnished. Owners are friendly and helpful. Perfectly placed for sightseeing in buxton and close to pubs and restaurants I would highly recommend this B&B. We will definitely be coming back
