The hostel is centrally located, close to the cathedral, beach, train/bus station, also surrounded by restaurants & stores. Reception service was great-fast check-in, loved that they let us leave our luggage there while we explored because we arrived super early. Super accommodating, as soon as our room was ready they let us have access way before the check-in time. It’s clean and has everything you need for a decent stay. A couple of things are a little old & require an upgrade like the shower head didn’t stay on the holder and the toilet seat would move. Aside from that, no complaints.

Perfect bed, clean bathroom, wonderful receptionist, the only downside is that the locker drawers make a lot of noise but everything else was very good.

It is the class hostel in Cádiz at a nice price. Very well located. Super equipped kitchen with large tables inside and outdoor terrace, all located on the roof top. A bar is also there. Large room with curtains, lights and sockets.bed ok.sanitary facilities adjoining showers.lockers under bed a little noisy.lounge to relax right next door.train station and bus station 400m away.a good address!

Pontos positivos: O quarto era limpo diariamente, o que é um ponto positivo. O quarto de 6 é espaçoso, tal como a casa de banho. O staff muito simpático. Pontos negativos: o colchão não tinha resguardo e era de “esponja” azul, tendo um conforto diferente de um colchão normal. A minha almofada tinha uma pequena mancha escura numa das pontas, e a fronha tinha 3 pequenos furos.

The hostel did the job for a night in Cadiz. Centrally located in Cadiz, clean and had helpful staff. Note that the property isn’t very well sound-insulated. It can be a bit noisy on the ground and first floors, from the street and because reception closes by 8 pm people would be ringing the front doorbell several times throughout the night.

Great value. Very organized. They pack 'em in like sardines though. Not much spare room in sleeping areas. A lot of people so it seems there's always at least one inconsideate twit ruining it for everyone else.

This facility should be the model that all hostels are designed from. Amazingly building/ rooms / common areas with a rooftop bar and sitting area. Centrally located so you can explore rather easily. The only downside to my visit was the terrible noises starting at 07:00hrs every morning. The building next-door is being remodeled/renovated. An issue that is completely outside the control of Planeta Cádiz Hostel. They were apologetic… though appreciated my understanding that there was nothing they could do. Only roughly a 10 minute walk from the train station. Overall, I would ***highly recommend*** this facility to any and all travelers looking to spend time in Cádiz.

I've stayed in many hostels during my travels and this time I stayed for almost 3 weeks at Planeta Cadiz. I absolutely loved everything about my stay there. The location is perfect in the heart of the historic town of Cadiz. The facilities are very clean and you have everything you need. In my dorm room there was even its own bathroom, which is usually on the hallway in other hostels. They also had a dedicated study and work room which was perfect for me as I had to work remotely during my stay. Also, the rooftop was fantastic and made it easy to socialize. Especially, the volunteers made great effort to make everyone feel welcoming and to be part of a little family. The kitchen could be a little bit better equipped, but you basically have everything you need to prepare proper meals! Thank you Planeta Cadiz for this great stay - I'll definitely come back!
