I booked my husband here while I was in the private hospital around the corner. It was perfect, he was really happy with the service at reception, the cleanliness of the room and its proximity to everything, the hospital which was an easy walk, the beach, the cbd. We would absolutely stay again. Fantastic thank you!

The hotel is not far from the night market, but it's still more convenient to drive. Parking in Cairns is free on Sundays, so if you plan to go out to sea on Sunday, it's best to leave it at the pier. Everything is free, and you can drive to every place. The hotel lobby is on the M floor, and the second-floor platform where the car is parked is on the 1st floor. There is an elevator to enter the hotel.

One day when we were staying at the hotel, the power suddenly went out after 10 pm. There was no room service notification of what happened. We only found out after calling the front desk that the power was out, and then the power was not restored all night. We had a great two night stay at Cairns Plaza Hotel. Although we were visiting Cairns for the sad circumstances of a funeral, we found the service provided by this hotel to be exemplary. The staff were friendly and approachable - and helpful too with storing our luggage and ensuring our taxi arrived safely. The room was wonderfully clean and the beds very comfortable. Thank you, Cairns Plaza Hotel, for helping us during this difficult time for us.
