Ramada By Wyndham Cairns City Centre
"My bed was comfortable although the rooms and hotel overall is dated"
Caravella Backpackers
"Great value and good amenities here. However it’s the super friendly and helpful staff that elevate this place above your typical hostel or hotel. We had an issue with our room and it was resolved quickly and beyond expectations (thanks Zenon!), don’t hesitate to stay here."
Cairns Colonial Club Resort
"Wonderful reception staff. Jason was great when helping us find a pouch that my girlfriend left an item in the room. Even though we only lodged the missing item report a week after checking-out, the item was still safely kept and returned to us within a day."
Pacific Hotel Cairns
Boasting a fantastic central location directly opposite the Reef Fleet Terminal, this contemporary hotel treats guests to stunning harbour views and exceptional Brazilian dining at its on-site restaurant.
YHA Cairns Central
"Great location right in the city center, and the staff was friendly! However, the room was a bit smaller than expected. Still a solid choice for a short weekend stay."
The Benson Hotel
"Quite Central to where you need to be in Cairns. At first sight, the hotel looked quite crusty externally but the room (and interior) were fine. Breakfast was rather delicious. Pool looked ok but don’t actually go in as there was little cover from the sun i.e. additional deck chair umbrellas. Had to haggle for a late check-out (from 10am to 11am) but in the end, after using reason and logic, we got there… Overall a good experience"
Shangri-La The Marina, Cairns
Perfectly situated on the waterfront, this premier luxury hotel boasts unbeatable panoramic views of the Marlin Marina and offers direct access to the Great Barrier Reef departure terminals.
Novotel Cairns Oasis Resort
"The environment is clean, and the breakfast buffet is delicious and varied. The location is just right, a 5-10 minute walk to the dining and entertainment streets in Cairns city center. Dinner at the coffee bar was also quite good."
Cairns Queens Court
A privately-owned, budget-friendly boutique property that offers a comfortable mix of traditional hotel rooms and self-contained studios within easy walking distance of the city centre.

Crystalbrook Riley
"Nice view. Sadly it was rain season. The pool is fantastic!"
Pullman Reef Hotel Casino
"The room was clean, the service was good, and there was a bathtub in the room, so I could relax. It was also nice that slippers were provided and water was replenished every day."
Hilton Cairns
"I really enjoyed my trip to the Hilton. I had great room service and a really lovely comfortable stay and the best sleep I’d had in ages. There was a lovely tropical garden in the foyer outside my room."
Waters Edge Apartment
"We have visited Cairns several times and this is the nicest place we have stayed in. We were with our adult children and were very pleased with our spacious 3-bed apartment with a big balcony and undercover parking. Nicely furnished and plenty of space for everyone. An easy walk to the center of town yet very quiet and just across the street from the waterfront and a brilliant cafe (Muddy's). Lovely swimming pool and very helpful managers. We were particularly impressed and grateful when they went out of their way to contact us and arrange for something left behind to be returned. We will definitely stay there again on our next visit."
The Espy Hostel
"There was no power outlet in the bathroom, so I couldn't use the hair dryer when my roommate was sleeping. (I don't know if they lend out hair dryers, so I think you have to bring your own.)"
Aspect Central
"Got economy room , only one night. Arrived late left early. Room ok, small. Had shower toilet aircon and a bed plus a jug with tea/coffee and milk, what more could you want ? Rained all night so a little noisy drip drip drip outside window. Stay ok, will get better room next time if it’s raining. Check in/out very easy, booking easy, No problems and price was good."
Mumma's Hostel Cairns
"Such a great and cool vibe! Facilities are really clean, the outside area is super nice, staff are friendly and efficient and always keen to help. I enjoyed my stay and will be back for sure!"
Cairns Queenslander Hotel & Apartments
"The room size is relatively large, a bit small and old, and it is relatively close to the airport. health conditions can also. Its restaurant serves Thai food. I ate it once for dinner, so you can give it a try."

Exuding grand colonial elegance, this upscale five-star hotel features massive, high-ceilinged spaces, an expansive pool deck, and a world-class day spa.
Hotel Tropiq
Showcasing a relaxed, mid-century tropical design, this boutique hotel features a stunning resort-style pool area that serves as an oasis for budget-conscious travellers.
Alivio Hotel Cairns
"Bad overall experience, no WiFi for 4 days, barely any housekeeping, broken curtains and light seeping in through the room on your face right from 6 am in the morning forcing you out of sleep. Many better hotels available at much better rate right next to the esplanade. Book those. Really bad experience for the rate charged by the hotel. P.S - The buffer breakfast (prepaid) was really bad with hardly any options and all decent options including coffee were for extra charge."
Crystalbrook Flynn
A chic and social luxury hotel that embodies a lively, energetic spirit, offering glass-panel pool views and trendy dining spots right on the bustling Esplanade.
