The hotel feels rather old and battered. The guests are given regular keys instead of keycards, the walls and the apartment entrance doors are so thin that I could hear my neighbours 24/7. The lift works without tapping the keycard, so anyone can go to any floor. The reception closes at 8, so there is noone to help if anything happens later in the evening/at night. I also heard people shouting in the hallways at night. In general, I just didn't feel safe at this hotel as a solo female traveller.

During the 40-day free travel in Australia, I booked the Rydges Park Hotel in Quays on Ctrip and stayed for 4 nights. It is really convenient and affordable to book hotels and purchase tickets for attractions on Ctrip! This is an apartment-style hotel. There are no customer service staff on public holidays and at night. You can enter and exit with a room card. The guest rooms are relatively large, clean and tidy, with complete kitchen and bathroom facilities. You can buy vegetables in the supermarket and process them yourself in the guest room. Of course, before leaving the hotel, we cleaned the room, kitchen and bathroom, and took photos of each part for preservation. I went out for a stroll every night. The street market was lively and safe. The cruise terminal is not far away, so it is convenient to walk there. We booked and participated in the helicopter, cruise and snorkeling projects in the Outer Great Barrier Reef. Fortunately, there is a swimming pool on the roof of the hotel, and we tested and adapted to the snorkeling suit in advance 🤿. It is really convenient to book and purchase tickets for overseas hotels, air tickets, attractions, etc. on Ctrip, and the price is also suitable!

The hotel is easy to get to and in the City Centre not far from the water , markets , ****** etc.. Unfortunately there are NO eating facilities cafe etc in this hotel so if you are walking to a restaurant and it is rainy you WILL need an umbrella or you will get very wet.. The apartment I had was a 1 bedroom executive apartment with a great undercover verandah wich couldn’t be used as the floor was mostly underwater and very slippery but would be great on a summers day or night.. with fantastic views of the hotel next store.. But that was my apartment. If you go up to the rooftop pool bbq area the vies of the city are nice

Porbably won't stay there again. The very tight hot balcony which had an air conditioning unit plus looking out onto and into a brick wall. Bathroom was very clean and remainder of unit was clean and tidy. Just felt we could of been better placed in the complex.

The hotel was very clean, the housekeeping was excellent, the front desk was very helpful, we could easily walk to restaurants and shoping. The bed was very good and the facility was very well maintained. Our room was a little tired. Certainly they had done some upgrades but not completely refurbished the apartment, none the less the unit was very comfortable and well appointed. We'd stay there again.

The room and overall experience was fine. However, one glaring thing that guests who book connecting rooms (a standard room and a 1BR suite) should know: the interconnecting rooms with an interior and exterior door do NOT have a private common area. Typically, this type of connecting room provides privacy and flexibility for guests. Guests actively seek this configuration out in order to not just enjoy the space of the two rooms, BUT ALSO the common foyer area in-between the exterior door and the interior door that now should become private--- and is private by the standards of every Major Hotel chain in the world. But at Park Regis City Quays--- they do things differently. That space, btw interior and exterior doors, is considered public. Two times the staff walked inside this space with no warning, and caught us starkers. A bizarre policy that benefits no one that this Hotel should change and guests should be warned of.

Overall good location and quality. Was not too impressed with the price for a smaller sized room but it was the holiday season.
