Cairns Aquarius

The apartment is located at a very good location. All the apartments come with first-line sea view. There are lots of celebrity restaurant nearby. Minutes' walk to the great barrier reef ferry terminal, Lagoon, Night Market. Very spacious apartment with 2 bathrooms, seperate laundry, and a large balcony. We chilled in the balcony with drinks, looking at the ocean. The building comes with 2 pools, spa, and sauna. Good security with intercom and elevator access control. The only downside is the fitting is a bit dated and some ants in the apartment. But it doesn't affect the holiday. I would recommend this place for family holiday.

Great Property, fantastic location on Cairns Esplanade

It is perfect location with well prepared rooms. We stay for 3 nights with family and have a priceless time. We can access every remarkable sight seeing point in Cairns within 10minutes and can live and cook like a local citizen in here. Even it is a holiday for the host, but we can communicate smoothly and timely via email. Hopefully to stay again in near future.

Modern apartment in a happening place. About 100ft from great variety of dining, entertainment and activities options. Amazing water views from the balcony. The rooms are spacious with modern decor. Fully furnished kitchen with dishwasher laundry etc. comfortable beds.

Absolute scam of a place and management. We booked for 5 nights - on our first night upon returning from dinner, we found 30+ cockroaches littered across the kitchen, living space, bedroom and bathrooms. We tried to call the emergency contact number and there was no response so we sent a text message. An hour later we got this response ‘insects are very much part of life in the tropics of North Queensland and nothing to be concerned about’ We understand a few bugs and maybe even 1 cockroach in the apartment but over 30?! We asked to move apartments and Richard (the manager) said there were non available and said ‘there isn’t much else i can do except reassure that they won’t cause any harm and are very normal’ - not sure if it’s just me, but 30 cockroaches crawling on the kitchen countertops and bedding is certainly not acceptable or NORMAL. We grabbed our belongings, where cockroaches were crawling all over our bags, and checked out straight away and had to find a hotel for the night and our further 4 nights we had booked the apartment for. For a month, Richard ignored calls from the booking company, Agoda, to fully compensate us for the 5 nights that we did not stay. After they finally got through, he has decided to not refund us our money due to the ‘policy’ - surely the policy should be to have a habitable apartment and not scam people out of over £700 An infested, poorly managed apartment with horrific communication from Richard - he should be appalled at offering it in this state. Honestly do yourself a favour, DO NOT BOOK.

Cairns Aquarius is in ideal location - its along the ***** to restaurants, shopping and the esplanade.

I enjoyed my stay in Cairns as an opportunity to have some lovely summer weather before the wet season begins. Great location and great view over the Esplanade and the bay.
