It is very convenient to order entertainment items at the front desk. The room is large enough and the kitchenware is complete. Make your own breakfast every day and go out with a full stomach. There are 10-seater minibuses in Cairns. It is very cost-effective to book them in advance at the airport.

We think that it is the most suitable hotel if we stay in Cairns in families of 4-5 people.

The owners thought of special things like salt and pepper available, all kitchen items, clothes horse as not everyone wants to use the dryer. Easy walking to shops.
Maybe have a map in unit for those late check ins as the map we got from reception after 3 days there was great.
Maybe leave a note to warn rentals about leaving food/honey/sugar out, as ants around.

Location wise, Getaway on Grafton is great as its really close to Cairns town centre. It's a leisurely 10 min walk to most things. Kevin & his team were excellent and able to help out with late checkins and general information about Cairns / Far North QLD. There was some cleanliness issues with the townhouse we were given but Kevin's team were on top of it when notified. Rooms & facilities were abit older but hey, we only needed the place to sleep as we were out most of the time. Still a great option for trips to Cairns. Would definitely stay here again when we next visit.

We enjoyed our short stay making use of the pool and spa . Plenty of parking and close enough to walk to centre of town as well . Nice room with plenty of room for a family.

We stayed in a townhouse and had plenty of space for our family of 5. It was perfect for a 1 night stay (about 13 hours actually!) . All very clean, though inside the kitchen drawers could have used a wipe down. The extra single bed was just out there and not open or set up, which would have been nice and there were no duvets on the beds, just a sheet .

Perfect for spending time with family. We had an extra bed put in and stayed in a room for 6 people. There was a Japanese supermarket and convenience store nearby, so I cooked for myself in the room and enjoyed several meals. There are wonderful employees who can fulfill various requests here, so I think I can talk about various things. It's a little far from the center of town, but it's quiet and the park next door is fun to walk. Is the pool suitable for children? That's what it feels like, but there is a jacuzzi and adults can enjoy it there. It's not a clean hotel, so it's recommended for those who don't mind, and those who are used to traveling abroad, such as facilities.
