All was good except the bell boy who, while waiting for us to hand over some belongings for the security safe, sat on our bed and played with his phone. Not cool.

The location is good, the National Museum is within walking distance. The room is quite small by Egyptian standards, but the hardware is good. The service attitude of the front desk downstairs is also good. Overall good review.

I like this hotel because of the location. It has a small pool but unfortunately pigeons love the pool as much as a customers and I don't like pigeons. They need to do something to limit the number of pigeons that like to drink the pool water. There is a machine that you can buy that pigeons hate the sound of and the people can't hear. The rooms are a bit small but they gave me a room where I could see the Nile the Ritz-Carlton and the Egyptian museum so ask for room at the end of the building. Staff is top-notch and goes out of their way to help you. Don't book tourist from the concierge it's a rip off. I've stayed at this hotel three times because of the location and the professionalism of the staff.

Steigenberger was a good experience. In one aspect they take the cake and that is customer friendliness. I have never been called by the hotel initiator to ask if everything is going well, when I indicated that I was slightly ill, we were offered soup on behalf of the hotel. It's about their gesture and concern. They know what their downsides are (small rooms, sometimes noise from the street, small windows, no bath and especially queen-size beds of max 155 wide. You don't really score with that, but that's why we focus on they focus a lot on hygiene, hospitality and customer satisfaction. I would like to stay here again, but when my child grows up, it is not a hotel for small children. They score more than 10. Hygiene too.

I am very grateful to the staff of Steigenberger Hotel Tahrir Cairo. When I checked in from the airport to the hotel, I found that my passport was lost. In principle, I could not check in without a certificate. I am grateful to the front desk staff, especially a tall manager, who tried to verify my information in multiple ways within his authority.
