We stayed for 1 night. The location is great, right in Tahrir square, in the center of Cairo, and opposite the Egyptian museum. The rooms are large enough and surprisingly clean. Serving Egyptian local Felafer and Beans for breakfast. The employees are caring and friendly. If I were to come again, I would definitely stay here.

The location of the hotel is very good, next to the Cairo Museum, the balcony overlooks the entire museum square and the Nile
The front desk reception is warm and helpful
The room is relatively clean, very high and happy, including breakfast
There is a taxi counter in the airport hall, I cut it down to 300 Egyptian pounds

I don't recommend they tried to scam me, the location is good but I don't recommend them to come it would be a waste of time and money, the people at the counter were very rude.. And they wanted to charge me twice as much when I made my reservation, and they tried to send me to another hotel that according to them.

The room is very very small, with almost nothing in it. BUT IT IS VERY COMFORTABLE AND FREE TO MOVE AROUND.

We are disappointed with our experience at City View Hotel. When we arrived at the hotel, they said they were overbooked and didn’t have room for us, even though we had a confirmation from ******* and had booked our room over a month in advance. That was not a fun thing to hear after a long, tiring day of traveling. We ended up having to walk to another hotel with all of our luggage. There was no warning from them before we got there to check in - they could have at least messaged us so we could have taken our taxi to the other hotel instead of having to walk. Also, the airport shuttle is NOT free, as ******* advertised. It is 500 LE one way.

Nice hotel for the price. Great for a stop over in Cairo when you spend most the time out sightseeing. All saff was friendly and always willing to help. The cook was a delight to interact with.

Helpful staff especially Hany & Tharwat, great location , clean, comfortable & has good breakfast. Very near to Cairo Tower, transportation & shops of every kind. Hani can help you in using Uber if you need a taxi. Recommend anyone to stay in it
