I don’t believe in online dating anymore😂The chairs on the balcony of the hotel costing $109 a night are all dusty. I asked the hotel manager to change one and it’s still the same. He also explained to me that it’s weathered and not dirty. There are hairs on it I'm really going to vomit 🤮
Nile sea view? ? ? There is also a Starbucks downstairs, which is a bit of a point, and it is a bit difficult to communicate in English at the front desk

J'ai séjourné à l'hôtel Om Kolthoom une nuit du mois de février 2024. Le personnel était très sympatique et respectueux. Il est vrai qu'il lui manque, plutôt qu'il lui faut des rénovations pour que ça soit vraiment digne du nom qu'il porte! Ce qui est important pour moi, c'est le nom et le lieu!, J'avais tout oublié quand j'y étais, sauf que j'étais sur le sol où Um Kulthum. vivait et chantait. Elle mérite beaucoup plus! La villa d'Oum Kulthum a été démolie et anéantie pour la remplacer par un hôtel de qualité moyenne, qui cache et efface les traces de la présence et de la musique de cette diva dans ce lieu pour plus de quarante ans. -- Abdurrazzak Ajaja

The kettle in the room was broken. I asked for a replacement and never got one. They do not leave a sheet with the extension numbers you might need. I got a hold of room service and asked for a copy of the menu, never got it. It was almost like they were hoping I’d forget I asked for things. Room service apparently also stops at 4 PM. The receptionists were unusually and irrationally hostile; they also kept repeatedly asking my friend and I what rooms we were in every time they would see us, like they were suspicious or something (we did not do anything suspicious).
The bathroom had no hair dryer and no toothpaste or toothbrush like most hotels would have. The bathtub design was also really physically uncomfortable and I would have to lean back to even fit my body under the shower. The water flow was very weak and sporadic, but warm so that was something.
It’s a beautiful historic hotel, the aesthetics are gorgeous and location is great. Unfortunately I felt like the service quality ruined that experience.

موقع الفندق رائع مطل على النيل الغرف متنوعه يوجد غرف ويوجد سويتات بصراحه كانت المعامله كويسه من قبل العاملين بالنسبه للافطار متعقدين مع مطعم بجوار الفندق اسف يقدم وجبات افطار شرقي وغربي يوجد كافيهات في الاسفل كما يوجد ستار بكس تحت الفندق يحتاج الي شوية اهتمام من الاداره فق لا غير

A decent hotel with attentive housekeeping, but some of the amenities listed (restaurant/bar, exercise room) weren’t available. But there are several restaurants and a Starbucks a short walk away.

Traditional styling, located in good position on zamalek island. Room sizes were impressive. Hotel rooms had cockroaches in and we found dead ones under the beds.
Hotel staff didn’t speak good English so was difficult to communicate at times.
