Returning to this hotel has been a welcome experience. The staff is just so completely helpful, I recommend it for anyone passing through, as you will find yourself with many helpful individuals who very much want to assist you with just about anything.

I have been staying at Grand Palace for some time. I have been quite comfortable in my stay here, quite happy with my room, and particularly happy with the staff, who have done so much for me. They are now friends of mine and I have no intention of moving to another hotel. I highly recommend anyone stay here, and again, can't say enough about how helpful the staff have been for me.

The room is less than 10 square meters, and there is no room for a big bed
No tables and chairs in the room
Older decoration, 40 rooms in total
There are mosquitoes, ants, and flies, so they won’t be better until the third night (7th floor)
The room has no telephone, no washing supplies, and Chinese sockets.
Several old guys at the front desk, good English, fairly safe
I didn’t eat breakfast, the restaurant is 15 square meters with 6 tables, and I’m not in the mood to eat.
The hotel is on the 6th-7th floor, and the old houses below the 6th floor are gloomy and dim.
The price is low in the city center, but the condition score should also be low to be reasonable. Friends who have come from far away from China suggest not to consider this one. Don't save money in this place.

I never thought I could afford to stay at a Grand Palace Hotel - it sounds terribly fancy and expensive, doesn't it? The reality of Cairo's Grand Palace is that it's a somewhat shabby hotel located on the 6th floor with a dirty staircase. The rooms are below average, the breakfast is terrible, and the internet doesn't work. On the plus side, there are the relatively low prices and the convenient proximity to the Egyptian Museum and Tahrir Square.
