It was a very pleasant stay. It's very small place on forth floor for 200 years old building. Arhitecture is astonishing for those ones who appreciates old, high ceiling buildings. Breakfast was very tasty and stuff is highly pleasant, friendly and helpful. Place is very clean and tidy. However room was very small and bathroom was so tiny, plus weight person won't be able to use it. Overall great stay, great location and experience.

The room is a little small as is the bathroom. The traffic noise is horrific. However, the staff made up for the hotel's shortcomings. They were friendly, caring and could not do enough for us. We enjoyed the home-like a**osphere of the hotel. It is not what a person might expect of a 'Boutique hotel' The street entrance to the hotel, which is extremely shabby and dirty, is not easy to find as there is no signage. The Square Boutique Hotel is excellently positioned in the centre of Downtown Cairo for a warm and pleasant stay. (Don't forget the noise-cancelling earplugs)

The hotel is located in an ideal location in Cairo at the foot of the building, certainly noisy on the street side, but fascinating to see this life go by...and an easy starting point for walks and discovery restaurant visits... Certainly the bathroom is a little small, no dryer hair… but that didn't matter - Very very pleasant bedding In addition to the location, the welcome was excellent… thank you Nura for this excellent breakfast, thank you to Isra for her kindness every day and above all a big thank you to Ahmed who made this stay even more beautiful! A great place, wonderful encounters!

Hotel staff are lovely and very helpful. Airport transfer was very proficient and prompt. Much appreciated when arriving into Cairo at 2am. Hotel centrally located in old part of town. Old building in need of maintenance but the room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Good air-con. It was nice having the city view but the traffic noise and horns are very loud, not reducing to around 12pm. The breakfast was good, and you can have on the balcony if you choose. Because of the noise consider only staying one or two nights.(I stayed 4)

Las habitaciones tienen todos los servicios y se respira un ambiente muy acogedor.Desde que llegué todos fueron muy amables: los recepcionistas, la señorita del aseo, la cocinera hacen todo para que tu estancia sea satisfactoria. Yo contraté ahí mismo los tours, A las pirámides, la esfinge, crucero por el Nilo, Alejandría, Luxor, el museo y las principales mezquitas e iglesias. These people are extremely deceitful and dishonest. We had booked a room with a balcony facing the square and paid more for it. We had booked through *********** with the "The square boutique hotel" - now they have changed their name to "The square view". Upon arrival they checked us in normally, charged our card and told us that the “deluxe rooms” were located in a different building. We then had to haul our baggages from one building to another (where they didn’t have an elevator). It turned out that they put us in a completely different hotel, where we had to check in again. This new hotel was away from the square and did not have a balcony or an elevator. There was no compensation for this change/downgrade. I would never recommend booking this hotel or dealing with these unscrupulous people.
