A family of four stayed here, dilapidated, poor facilities, the worst thing was that the mosquitoes bit my daughter, her wrists were red and swollen, and the service attitude at the front desk was okay!

Horrible elevator!

"Weird toilet spacing" has a high roof and a large room space. Everything is okay as a whole. However, sometimes the elevators are suspended and passengers need to go up the stairs.

I had a wonderful stay at this conveniently located hotel. It's close to everything, especially cinema Radio, and the iconic cinema Metro. The staff's hospitality and kindness made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Excellent hotel!! Really nice energy, Karim and Abdul as well as the rest of the staff were very very nice and helped with any questions we had. Highly, highly recommend!! Hotel is located very central to Cairo too so it makes it perfect when exploring the city!!

The hotel is in central Cairo with lots of food places around it. The host Abdooz, helped me in every possible way. He took us out for shopping in a very crowded market from which I found some really good deals. For the price that I paid, the experience I received was exceptional. The hosts are amazing and a bonus is that the hotel is in a vintage building with a cool elevator that I liked the most.

Visited Cairo with a couple of friends from university and to be fair, we didn’t know what to expect from this place. However upon our arrival we were greeted in the warmest way possible. The people working here are really friendly and trust worthy, especially Abdoz and Karim who I found at the reception with a smiling and welcoming face. I do recommend this hostel/hotel for your visit.

This was my first time in Egypt and I traveled solo without a plan. I didn't know what to expect and felt slightly overwhelmed on arrival. That quickly changed during the coarse of my stay at Minerva with the help of their amazing staff. Waheed always made sure I was well fed before I left on my daily adventures and that I was where I needed to be for planned excursions! Abdoz went above and beyond to make sure I had things to do and places to go by arranging day trips. He even allowed me to tag along on his personal time when I didn't have anything goin on. Karim was always checking in and making sure things were going well. He continues to check in with me even now that I've carried on in my travels. What makes this place special is the staff. They made me feel like I was at home and made my stay in Egypt truly unforgettable. I will never forget the people and culture of this amazing place! I've left Egypt seeing it in a new light with 100% positive feels =)

Friendly, very helpful , accommodating and knowledgeable staff! There is two Karim were so kind and Ahmed he was nice guy and abdoz helped me to go to the faloka I recommed this place good location in downtown

Nice staff, quute and cozy place, Room 606 Is the best view I ever had, I stayed there more than 3 times and it's never changed in a good way, They have the Fastest network, The elevator is so classic and old, It was scary at the begging but I quickly got used to it.

The Place is quite in a good way, and they have one of the most greatest Balcony I ever see, I stayed 3 nights Loved staying There, the staff is so friendly specially Sobh, he is so friendly, See you my Friends ❤

The two best things in this place are the staff (two dudes that manage it day and night shifts) and the location (downtown). It's kinda value for money and even the breakfast was very good. Karim and the other dude we're super sweet and friendly - they made my stay enjoyable in spite of severe problems with WIFI, which disconnected regularly and didn't have a good signal. However, the room was cozy and clean and the reception hall is cute.
