Pretty good hostel with backpackers vibe, the twin room small and no wardrobe nor bedside table. Cheap breakfast and multiple areas to chill. Lovely cats around :)

I wish I had found this hostel before two terrible tries with a filthy Airbnb and a small hotel with a scam artist receptionist. I’ll be back here. The rooftop location is cool and it has real hostel vibes with a guitar and area to hang out, which people do. Offers tours, which are a little overpriced but the convenience of them organizing everything so you can just relax is worth it. I mean, spending hours to find something $20 cheaper isn’t worth it to me. They’ll wash your clothes, hallelujah! I saw them helping a younger guy without a smart phone, to call Ubers for him so he wouldn’t get scammed by taxis … all around great experience with helpful staff.

I booked a double room, but I can't comment on how small the room was. However, there was no table or chairs, just two small beds one meter wide. Breakfast is an additional 50 Egyptian pounds. There are no hooks in the bathroom of the public washroom, so it is a problem where to put the clothes you bring when taking a shower. The advantage is that the youth hostel is on the rooftop with a good view. There are several sockets in the public rest area and rest in the public area. It is convenient to charge while chatting. It is not far from Tahrir Square and the Egyptian Museum. The transportation is convenient and there are many restaurants nearby.

Close to museums and stations, cost-effective! The room is super small 😄 Take the free shuttle bus from the airport to the bus station and take the bus to the city and get off nearby

It's a free a**osphere, so you can relax comfortably on the terrace, and I stayed quite decently for the price. I recommend it if you are coming to Cairo on a budget.

I had a great experience. H was especially helpful. They organized my Nile tour as well, and additionally I got a free Cairo city tour. The location can’t be beat and the rooftop patio is extremely atmospheric. Good breakfast as well and great prices. For those who enjoy hostels I can’t recommend this place enough. I’ll be back again soon.

A beautiful, old, classic place that I loved very much . The staff are friendly and treat you like a friend, and I felt that I would like to stay with them more . Beautiful paintings, stunning views from the roof, and the flowers are very relaxing

Clean room, comfortable bed with cozy duvet. Clean showers and toilets. The airport shuttle service is the BEST!! Great opportunity to meet a variety of people from around the world. Breakfast at a nominal fee 50egp? Wish I could find a hostel in Egypt that made a decent cup of coffee.

Great location and transportation, staff were great and couldn’t do enough for us. They arranged a tour to the White Desert for us, great trip, Also because the exchange rate changed, they gave us money back. ! Doesn’t happen very often in Egypt.

Excellent for a very good price ; the rooftop is nice, there are plenty corners to relax or chat. It is very quiet, though in the very noisy downtown Cairo !The bedroom was a bit small (we chose a bedroom with inside bathroom), but clean and the mattress is good as well. They do provide towels for 5 EGP per day, and laundry service. It is open 7/7 and 24 hours, and the people at the reception is welcoming. It is not a youth hostel and you meet people of all ages, that's nice! One bad thing is the breakfast; go and take it outside.
