Steigenberger was a good experience. In one aspect they take the cake and that is customer friendliness. I have never been called by the hotel initiator to ask if everything is going well, when I indicated that I was slightly ill, we were offered soup on behalf of the hotel. It's about their gesture and concern. They know what their downsides are (small rooms, sometimes noise from the street, small windows, no bath and especially queen-size beds of max 155 wide. You don't really score with that, but that's why we focus on they focus a lot on hygiene, hospitality and customer satisfaction. I would like to stay here again, but when my child grows up, it is not a hotel for small children. They score more than 10. Hygiene too.

I am very grateful to the staff of Steigenberger Hotel Tahrir Cairo. When I checked in from the airport to the hotel, I found that my passport was lost. In principle, I could not check in without a certificate. I am grateful to the front desk staff, especially a tall manager, who tried to verify my information in multiple ways within his authority. This was the best hotel I stayed at during my trip to Giza, Cairo and Luxor. I only stayed here for sightseeing, so it was a short stay, but I would like to come back and relax again. The view of the Nile, with the greenery along the river and the desert beyond, was amazing, and it was exactly how I imagined the Nile to look.
The hotel interior was clean and decorated in a typical Egyptian style. The breakfast buffet was very substantial, with Egyptian dishes such as falafel and hummus, as well as a counter for *food.
The room amenities were plentiful, and the shower had good water pressure and temperature.
There was also complimentary bottled water.
There was an ATM near the breakfast venue (only Egyptian pounds could be withdrawn)
