Cm Castell de Mar

After spending 7 days I was very impressed with virtually all aspects of this hotel. From the front desk staff to all staff in other areas of the hotel the service and professionalism was always on show. Location could not be better as right beside an excellent beach and shopping area. Entertainment every evening was very good and overseen by Marissa. Leo the head barman and his staff do a wonderful job looking after the guests. I found the choices at the buffet breakfast and dinner very good and the dining staff very helpful. I would certainly recommend this hotel without any hesitation.

Just returned back home from this gorgeous hotel. Miss waking up to the stunning sea views and the sounds of the sea lapping the beach. The hotel is spotless and anything you require adding in your room you can do via the app if you don't want to visit reception. Extra pillows, room service, coffee condiments,towels etc The beds are the comfiest I've ever come across abroad and I've travelled a lot! Tour operator for Thomas Cook for over 20 years. It's not quite the start of the season so the temperature was up & down, the outdoor pool was too cold for me but didn't stop my youngest (12yrs) from having his daily dip. The indoor pool was quite busy with younger children. The food caters for everybody. There are vegan dishes as well as your standard meat,fish etc and chips,nuggets, pizza burgers if you have fussy children like mine, there is a different theme each evening national, Asian, gala etc & way too many lovely deserts to try. Breakfast are widely catered for too, my 2 qued daily for the freshly made pancakes as did I for the omelettes, the lady making them was lovely & friendly and after a few days didn't even need to ask how many or what fillings we needed as she remembered. The staff were all lovely and friendly with nothing being too much trouble.Safe key is 10€ which is refundable as is the 10€ for each pool towel. The hotel is ideally situated for bars, restaurants, a number of supermarkets within walking distance & a McDonald's if that's what your missing as well as a few younger kids related 'happy parks' which are bouncy, castles, bungee trampolines, go carts, water bumper cars. The beach is gorgeous, the umbrellas were only just being erected whilst we were there but you can walk all the way along the promenade upto cala bona, which is about 40 minutes to the lovely harbour ( stayed on a previous visit) All in all a really chilled relaxing weeks break with wonderful views ,food & sunshine. Majorca never disappoints!

All very good, excellent service, so clean everywhere. Food excellent. The beds are so comfortable. Everyone so friendly we totally recommend the hotel. Our lovely holiday was made so special with everyone around. We can't wait until we return.

Beautiful hotel opposite beach. Excellent food and friendly staff. Only one problem during the week was there needs to be a grab rail on the bathroom wall for elderly people having a shower. I had to ask for bath mat and one was quickly delivered. Very difficult to get out of bath without one.

We have just returned from 5 wonderful nights at the Castell de Mar. When we arrived, the check in was quick, efficient and friendly and although we were early, our room was ready. The sea view from our room was amazing and I would definitely recommend. The pool area was clean and comfortable with excellent service from the pool bar, although we didn’t use this area often due to the beautiful sandy beach just a very short walk away. The food was great, with a good variety at both breakfast and dinner which I’m sure that all tastes and requirements would be catered for. The room itself, although it little small for all 3 of us was perfectly adequate with super comfy beds and an excellent shower. Thank you for a lovely break. We will be returning.

Spent a week with daughter and granddaughter at this lovely hotel. We had a junior suite so had enough room with the settee made into a bed. It was worth the extra price. Although I have walking difficulties and we were on the 7th floor I managed very well using the lifts. The room was kept very clean. The shower was great. Powerful. Restaurant was good. Plenty of variety. But could be chaotic if we went early to dinner. Much better to wait an extra half hour or so. The pool area is large with lots of sunbeds. The main pool is cold but it didn't stop my granddaughter diving in. There is an indoor pool which is warmer but it does get very busy, especially with youngsters. First thing in morning or early evening is quietest. There is also a gym and sauna. There are shows in the evenings and the bar prices are comparative with other places. The staff were very good and friendly. The reception staff very helpful. The location is close to the shopping area and beach. This hotel has a thumbs up from all of us.

I have just spent 7 nights at this wonderful hotel. I have been coming to this resort for over 20 years and stayed in many hotels in the area, and around the world, and i think this one has to be one of my favourites around these resorts, and the only one so far I cannot fault at all! I always look for improvements in my line of work, so can be quite particular, but this hotel is honestly faultless. The rooms are absolutely lovely, stunning views. Definitely worth paying for sea view. Beds comfy. Tv decent channels, ITV even for those Brits that love their soaps! Haha Good shower. Bonus that has a little fridge too. Only slight moan was the cleaner kept leaving two towels when 3 of us, and she also took one of our key cards which was annoying. Pool area we didn’t use as was on the beach so we went there every day. Location is perfect. Staff are all incredible. Reception staff so welcoming and helpful, restaurant staff, every single one of them helpful and kind. The guest reservations manager is an asset to the hotel. He introduces himself to guests and says to see him if needed, a really lovely touch and shows he cares. Same with staff, you can see they all care. Even on entering the hotel, it’s so lovely and inviting, and always smells amazing! Any Disney fans will appreciate when I say, it smells like a Disney hotel and gives me instant happy vibes! :) Breakfast really good. We only ate evening meal once but was nice. All little touches to the hotel, beach bag in the room, bottle of water, and just the card taken to clean and keep it looking nice make a huge difference. The managers, and who ever else runs the hotel are definitely doing it right. Hope to be back again very soon! Thanks for a lovely stay

All though my visit was a while ago I felt I needed to respond to the review in which it was said a vegetarian and vegan could not survive without eating out of the hotel. I have been a vegetarian for over forty years. At reception I was asked for any special requests and was referred to the head waiter in the restaurant that evening. He had the buffet selection on a card with all the vegetarian dishes marked in green. He then took me around the buffet area and pointed out all the vegetarian dishes. There was an excellent selection. At breakfast I was able to select a number of dishes without any problem. The food at the hotel was excellent if there are any problems I am sure the staff would be keen to help
