Unfortunately, my stay at your hotel fell short of expectations, not meeting the minimum requirements for a pleasant and comfortable stay. I would like to report the following problems I encountered:
1. Noise: Due to the poor soundproofing of the room, I experienced annoying noises coming from adjacent rooms and from the constant passage of staff trolleys in the corridors, even at night, which significantly compromised my rest. Furthermore, the "Latin party" event did not allow for rest due to the extremely loud music volume until the early morning hours of October 29th. I didn't sleep at all last night.
2. Dirt: The cleanliness of my room was lacking, with the presence of dust, stained curtains and dirty bedspread.
3. Odor: I noticed unpleasant odors in my room and in some common areas of the hotel.
4. Temperature: The air conditioning system in my room emits an unpleasant odor and absolutely had to be left off, furthermore the internal temperature was excessively high. The floor in many areas was decidedly hot. This problem of high room temperature was particularly problematic during the dance party held under my window, when I had to close the window due to the noise unlike the first evening where having slept with the window open allowed for a few hours of sleep .
In addition to the above, I found a broken shower head in the bathtub, the telephone in the room did not work, the fridge bar was off, the breakfast offered was of poor quality. The only thing I tasted was the yogurt which had an abnormally acidic taste.
I want to point out that, as an international customer, I have traveled extensively for business and pleasure, but never have I found myself in a similar situation, which is truly unacceptable for a 4 star hotel.
My experience at this hotel was disappointing and had a negative impact on my work commitments scheduled for the weekend of October 28th and 29th due to a special corporate meeting held over the weekend.
I kindly ask that this complaint be considered and that necessary measures be taken to improve the quality of services offered by the hotel.
I reported the temperature problem to the front desk, but was asked to be patient, making assumptions about pipes running underneath the room.
A person was then sent to turn off the air conditioner, misinterpreting my request.
The person did not want to verify what I raised regarding the anomalously high temperature of the room, the heat of the floor. When she realized that it wasn't about turning off or adjusting the air system, she left without uttering a word.
The second and third time I went to the reception I found groups of Asians queuing for check-in right outside the entrance door, thus preventing me from repeating the report. Furthermore, the telephone in the room did not work and tiredness after a long day of work and a sleepless night prevailed.
For the above, all the inconveniences suffered: I request a full refund of the cost of the stay.
