The room is small and has a microwave. Because I only stayed for one night and went to Banff the next day, I chose to go to the side of Banff. The hotel is easier to find. But when I asked about the tourist map at the airport, I asked the local service consultant and asked her to circle the hotel for me. As a result, I was told that the place was not very safe, so I did n’t go out after arriving at the hotel at night. Fainted. However, the surrounding area of the hotel was really deserted. I didn't see the hotel supermarket. Fortunately, we went to the supermarket to buy a bunch directly after renting a car. Dinner and breakfast were all solved. We have an electric car and so when we travel if possible we try stay in hotels that have an electric vehicle charger on site. I always call the hotel directly to confirm as the websites are not always accurate. We called this hotel directly before booking onine and were advised by the woman on the phone (who had to put us on hold while she checked), that there was a car charger in the covered parking area. Great - the only warning was it was first come first served (which is how most are). When we arrived we asked where the vehicle charger was located and due to language issues the front desk person thought we were talking about a car cell phone charger... but another person came over and told us no EV charger on site. That was the whole reason for booking at this hotel and on a long weekend most places nearby were sold out. So we had to change our schedule to go and find a car charger instead of being able to do this at the hotel as planned. We would not have booked had we been given accurate information. And to pour salt in the wound, after we checked in the same person at the front desk who thought we wanted a cell phone charger called to ask if we were satisfied with the room, and I said room was fine but unhappy about no EV charger, he got confused and put us on hold and left us on hold... I eventually just hung up. Poor service. Hotel was clean. Our room was large but very spartan in furnishings and dated except new flooring. Bed was OK and no issue with noise. Shower head was long past its prime so not a great shower. Door into the room was backwards and swung to the open room and not to the wall but it had a door arm on it so you could not open all the way. Thiis made it hard to get luggage into the room as there was a table that limited access. Never tried the included breakfast. Why don't hotels offer the breakfast right until check out time? Why do they cut if off so early? I feel ripped off.

Very nice property. The guestrooms are well maintained and adequate for a good night of sleep. Staff and cleanliness are great. Breakfast is excellent. The hotel lounge has a small menu, but great for a dinner or a drink.

profoundly disappointment and frustrated regarding our recent stay at the Ramada Limited Calgary. Unfortunately, our experience was so disheartening and distressing that we have made the difficult decision that we will never again choose to stay at a Ramada hotel. The conditions we encountered at Ramada Limited Calgary were simply unacceptable and fell far below the basic expectations one has when staying at any lodging establishment. The state of the guest rooms, bathrooms, and the overall property cleanliness was deplorable and posed serious health and safety concerns. Given the extent of the issues we encountered, we were unable to utilize the amenities offered by the property, including the absence of a suitable breakfast room. This lack of basic services only added to the overall disappointment of our stay. We had hoped for a comfortable and enjoyable experience, but our time at Ramada Limited Calgary was anything but. The experience has left us with a deeply negative impression and a firm decision to seek accommodations elsewhere in the future.

We stayed for 3 nights & had a hassle-free experience. It is best to include the breakfast buffet in your booking, the service was wonderful! The location is in downtown so it’s accessible.

Our flight departing Calgary was cancelled for 24 hours so we were put up in this hotel by the airline. The staff was pleasant and accommodating, special shout out to Stacey in the lounge who worked so hard to make sure everyone whose flight was cancelled was fed and full of drinks! Also special shout out to the chef that night, he was alone and still managed to get all the delicious food out in a timely manner! These two really stepped up and made our rather gloomy stay much more enjoyable! The rooms were clean and comfortable, big soft pillows on the beds and you could control your own room temperature. The front desk staff also accommodated a late check out for us as we had so much time to waste the next day. Thank you to the staff, you’ve really worked hard to turn our trip around!

We had the most amazing stay in late July. We booked a stay as our first stay before our birthday trip to Banff to explore Calgary. We used points the redeem for a night. Upon some email exchanges prior to the stay, I was given the option to pay to upgrade to club level which offers lounge access with breakfast and evening refreshments. Pam Doulson and Ava at the front desk are very sweet and kind. After learning it is for a birthday celebration, they kindly sent up a surprise birthday treat along with a nice upgrade to a 2 bedroom suite which is perfect for our party with 3 adults and 1 kid. The room is spotless and roomy with 2 washrooms and 3 tvs. Instead of exploring the city, we ended up just enjoying the hotel and spending time at the pool with the most amazing water slide according to the kids! The quality of the breakfast is fantastic and the club has a beautiful patio for pictures and relaxation. In conclusion, it is the best stay we had in recent years. So good that we are coming back again before leaving Calgary. Thank you Pam and Ava for making the stay so special and enjoyable for our 3 generations. We have stayed in higher end hotel like Shangrila/Fairmont in recent years but I would say I got the most responsive and friendly service here. I’d rather stay here than there. P.S. - the only think you should watch out for (if u have kids) is the glass door… my son was so excited that he ran into the glass and had a bump on his forehead…. I guess it shows how spotlessly clean the hotel is! 🤣

Quick overnight stay on transit with travelling and flights delayed. Great hotel and customer service. Good shuttle pick up. Very clean rooms and well maintained hotel. Recommend it. Friendly front desk. Would stay here again. Breakfast is included.

Show that you care! The hotel is new, beautiful and well located. The breakfast room is impressive with its size, tall ceilings, views and terrace. The breakfast itself is great with its variety, including waffles and a delicious South Asian(?) vegetable stew each day. The suites are large and well equipped, and the bed comfortable. Now if only the staff could treat customers a bit better. We paid $30 for underground parking, which was important to us because we got an upgraded rental car and were liable for it. On the second day, the garage was completely full, with more cars entering the garage - thanks to a broken capacity indicator that permanently shows 208 spaces. Staff basically blamed it on the fact that the garage is a private facility unrelated to the hotel. They sent us to two nearby surface lots. One was only available till 8:00 at a cost of $22.52. The second one was a dirt field. 1. I don’t care whose lot it is. You sold me access to it at an extortionate price and did not mention any other options, implicitly endorsing it. 2. Don’t sell more spaces than you have, especially at that price. 3. Know and explain options. Don’t direct your customers to a lot that only sells space till 8:00 for over 3 times the price as the next lot. You are wasting my time. Then at 4:00 am, we were woken up by a loud motor noise coming from the fridge. We had to move it and unplug it (it’s a full size fridge, not a hotel fridge). The clerk’s reaction? “Sorry about that, I’ll tell maintenance.” We had one night parking taken off the bill. No consideration for the hassle both from the parking and the fridge. You can do better. Better policies, better communication and a bit more generosity. Overall, not a good experience.

Hampton Inn by Hilton Calgary Airport North was a very comfortable stay for us. The free breakfast in the morning was great, we really enjoyed the warm breakfast. The staff at the front desk were very helpful and inviting, and the hotel shuttle service was very easy to use. The hotel was a short distance from the airport, and we would stay there again.
