I never write reviews, but this is a warning for future guests and speaks to a lack of care for visitors. I arrived around 1:30pm and was told to wait for my room. I did for 45 minutes. No problem. They assigned me a suite on the first floor. So far, so good. However, the experience quickly turned sour due to significant drawbacks. I noticed, there’s no bathroom door. Ok, but in the bathroom, there’s a door leading to the courtyard that is in disrepair, with merely a torn screen barrier through which various crawling animals and flying insects could easily enter. This oversight made it feel as though I was staying outdoors, a far cry from what I had anticipated. I could not shut the bathroom door to minimize the risk. Of course, I started seeing bugs but it got worse. Additionally, the room was plagued by LOUD, and I mean very LOUD alarm sounding noises from animals around nightfall. Again, this could have been mitigated with proper upgrades to the facilities, like a window instead of a screen. The sound was so loud and constant that I needed headphones all night . This disturbance completely detracted from the overall comfort. Upon addressing these concerns with the front desk, I was met with indifference. They informed me that no other rooms were available until the next day. I was not inclined to press the matter further with the tatted up young men at the desk. I am 100% sure the hotel is aware of this but continues to intentionally place guest here with no warning or mention of the issues until it’s too late. Don’t expect a quit night from the first floor suite. Overall, because of this stay was a very disappointing experience that fell short of expectations in both comfort and service. The second night I stayed in a regular room that was small but had windows for a quieter experience but was ready to check out asap. I also had an account hacked and suspect it happened here.
