First impressions the hotel looked nice. Very picturesque. Reception was nice, and the staff are very welcoming and polite. Check in was a simple process. Off to the rooms we went. Very disappointed. Dated furniture, curtains and bedding. Some plug sockets didn't work, the doors to the balconies were falling apart so we're difficult to open. The kitchen cupboards and worktops were rotten and falling to pieces, mouldy fridge and to top it off the toilet wasn't screwed down so tipped up every time you wiped your ****. 151 steps later down to the restaurant which was ok, but extremely hot and stuffy. The food is no other description than absolutely awful. Breakfast was cold rubbery eggs, stale bread and cereal, inedible ham which they class as bacon, and 1 morning there was Brussel sprouts 🤮 They offered more salad at breakfast that actual warm breakfast food. Lunch and dinners were no different, awful food, and hardly any options for children. The dessert section was actually ok though. The hotel offered 4 pools which were actually ok, plenty of loungers and in direct sunlight on 3 of them all day. There was no entertainment except a small speaker on the bar which you could only hear from 1 of the pools. The bar was very small and at times was a queue, ready to be greeted by miserable bar staff, where only 1 beer was offered. Drinks were served in tiny plastic cups which you would drink before you even got back to your lounger/chair. The onsite mini market was convenient but quite pricey, so the supermarket down the road was a preferred choice. A tennis court was on site which was ok and a crazy golf which I can only describe as a building site, a few small slabs of concrete. It was our first "family" holiday abroad so was a little disappointed as a whole, and I will definitely not be returning to this hotel, instead I will look at places in Costa Adeje. Summary for this is if you want horrendous food, no entertainment, dated and decaying rooms then this place is perfect
