Caloundra Waterfront Holiday Park

Sites are very small, even when you pay for a large site. Location is very close to restaurants and bars and board walk. Nice pool for kids, lots of renovations around park. Definitely not a fan of astro-turf sites - undulating, not level, hold water when it rains, lower than the surrounding lawn and gardens. Seafood shop near park entrance is great for fish and chips.

Caloundra Big 4 is a fantastic caravan park with excellent facilities including spotlessly clean amenities, brilliant pool and deck area, on-site coffee van and pizza van plus jumping pillow and pedal cars. The nightly firepit is a great addition and the Pancake breakfast this morning provided a wonderful opportunity to start the day enjoying the view, warm sun and the chance to make new friends all while being blessed with the smiling faces of the staff who cheerfully served us all.

Big 4 Caloundra is a tourist attraction in itself! Not only are the grounds immaculate, they are well equipped, Covid safe and staffed perfectly. We were treated like old friends, everyone wore a smile and were happy to point us in the right direction. The facilities are top notch! Very clean, very tidy and abundant. There is a fantastic school holidays program with activities for young and old. The pool is heated with a slide and and stairs. The jumping pillow and go carts kept the kids busy and they loved the magic show and face painting. There is a brilliant area to watch over the kids while enjoying a coffee or a cocktail. Dinner is taken care off with amazing well price wood fried pizzas and breakfast is covered with wrap and muffins. Centrally located to all things of importance, it didn’t matter we forgot all cooking equipment. We had full use of a herb garden, bbq facilities and picnic areas but we had Kmart, coles, woolies and bws right across the road. Right out front is a wonderful spot to relax and fish off the jetty, the boys bought back a crab and some lovely whiting. We wandered through the markets, went up town and enjoyed a dessert, a play in the rock pools and ride on the Ferris wheel and a Beautiful stroll home. We had friends stay who were first time campers and they loved it so much they rebooked before they left. We saw old neighbours here and made new friends. We will definitely turn big 4 Caloundra into an annual family/ friend trip! Thank you for the fantastic holiday. Grass site 6 & 7😊

Our ‘inaugural’ caravan adventure after 8 years off the road. We’ve never stayed in Caloundra before so chose the Big 4 due to their good reputation and certainly wasn’t disappointed. Lovely, well maintained park with friendly team members. Close proximity to water, boardwalks, eateries and shops. On-site coffee and pizzas @tomandandy, large play and pool area. We stayed on site C19 which is in close proximity of reception and amenities. Highlight: live, relaxing music enjoyed while socialising and eating pizza with other guests!

Stayed in a 3 bedroom Cabin with 2 small grandchildren for the week. Staff extra friendly and cater for your every need, Kids have the best activities and play area, pool and Tom And Andy's Coffee Van opens early for our morning bike rides around the water. Walking distance to restaurants and main beaches. Cabins clean and well equipt. No complaints about any aspect of this week. Highly recommend and will be back.

“ DO NOT GO HERE “ Worst experience of my life . The manager she was so rude and seemed to never want to return my phone call about a refund . The poor front desk staff there can’t give refunds because there was no manager around but she never wants to call back seems to me she always making excuses and has really poor customer service will never be back !AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST !!

I would have to say the 1 bedroom apartment was very spacious, clean and well decorated. Peaceful location, with all amenities required for a pleasant stay. Fresh Fish and chips in walking distance. A must try as the food is reasonably priced and yummy. Would definitely recommend this accomodation - next will definitely request a room with water view xxx
