Moffat Beach Motel Caloundra
"We only stayed one night, but overall we were satisfied. The landlady was incredibly kind and very helpful. She told us to just ask if we needed anything. Our room was clean and tidy, and various appliances, such as a kettle, were provided. Each unit had its own parking space. The Wi-Fi signal was reasonably good and the speed was adequate. What bothered us were the thin walls, which made everything very noisy, and the street noise was clearly audible in the room! Furthermore, the beds were simply too soft; a restful sleep was impossible!"
Rumba Beach Resort
"Overall not bad"
Nightcap at Golden Beach Tavern
"Really nice and relaxing definitely would stay again."
North Shore Oceanside Kawana
"Lovely location. Close to alot of necessities most notably a hospital and a shopping centre all within walking distance. Has a beautiful lake popular with fitness oriented people. Wasn't overly fond of my room as I was placed next door to a family with screaming kids. And the close proximity to each other means we can hear every little sound like the banging of doors nd chatter. That was my only gripe. Also the parkings great as we all have our own allocated spot. Would definitely come back here again but next time have my own door. And lastly the price i found was affordable for a solo traveller. 👍"

ULTIQA Shearwater Resort
"Unfortunately this is not a very good “hotel” We paid $350 per night for 8 nights. The staff are unhelpful and condescending. You have you check yourself in and upload your own documents on your phone (ID and credit card). The rooms are not very clean. Lots of mould and stains and general dust and dirt. The room IS NOT serviced. So no cleaning no matter how long you stay. If you ask for another bath towel you are made to feel bad. I had to ask for dishwashing liquid. I was told they can give me 2 sachets and after that I have to buy my own. No one ever bought me any. When I rang again the lady said just come and get them next time you leave the hotel. There is only 1 person on reception and they do the house keeping too. So when we arrived he had been called to a room. We had to wait downstairs til he had finished his job till we could check in. If you ring the front office 9 times out of 10 no one answers because no one it at the deck. Offices hours are 10am to 4pm. If you have any problem outside of these hours, too bad. The pool is very dirty. Lots of bugs and toilet paper floating in it. Beach towels are $10 each to use. Our room was located next to a rubbish Bing shoot and recycling bin. We complained for 8 days straight that we were getting continuously woken by the noice from the bins. There responce was “we cannot control when people throw their rubbish awake” I was shocked at their responce. On the last day we were offered to move rooms (after 7 days of complaints. We can move if WE pay a $150 cleaning fee! Oh and I forgot to mention there are glass tiles in the lounge area the lead to the next rooms balcony. So we can see them on their balcony and the can look into our lounge room! Same goes for the other side. We could look into their lounge room and the could look into our balcony."

"Pretty good, it was just raining badly that day."
Broadwater on the Peninsula
Saltwater on the Peninsula
"Honestly, don't waste your money and time at this property under the current management. There was very limited information on the procedure to gain access to the unit we rented. It was like an escape room challenge that we didn't need. Room was beat up, dirty and back door had no ability to lock. The remote controls for the gates didn't work well and we had to press them multiple times to get it to work. There was no explanation on how to use the lift as you need to use a key to get back to your car. I am grateful that a resident shared this information with us. People kept using our allocated carpark which left us uncertain on where to park. If you like mould, dust, filthy windows, greasy marks all over the kitchen and fridge, pet hair and a mattress protector that looks like a crime scene then this is your dream stay🤢"

Monaco Apartments Caloundra
"The room is large, two bathrooms, two balconies, one facing the sea and one facing the street. It is convenient to walk tens of meters to the beach. Downstairs is a Chinese restaurant. It is within walking distance to various meals. There is an IGA supermarket within 500 meters. The tableware is very complete. The point is that the refrigerator comes with a clean Water function can be directly connected to the water outlet of the refrigerator"

"Right on the and quit super clean and a bonus with quit dining options with a 1min walk loved it."
Tranquil Shores
"A great no frills place to stay on the southern Sunshine Coast. Cost effective, has everything you need, everything works but don't expect luxury at the price you pay. Close to the beach and restaurants, close to the shops, comfortable beds - what more could you ask for?"
