Start with the positives. The breakfast was nice daily. The grounds are really nicely maintained, beautiful place. Our room looked nice and modern and was clean upon arrival. The waterpark was great the kids played in there for hours. They also enjoyed the jumping pillow and mini golf. A playground for little kids under 5 or something for smaller children would be a bonus for the future. It did have a spider web type thing for older kids. We did however have an issue with ants throughout our stay in our room getting into our stuff. They did come and spray it once but they were still there. To stay at this hotel can be expensive. Regardless of what room you have or how much you pay, you do not get daily housekeeping. This really should be included for the amount of money it costs to stay here. We had a 4-night stay, and because there is no daily housekeeping, the towels, bathmats etc, go gross. We went to the swimming pool to return towels from our room and take more to use. There was also an incident at the waterpark where another child was injured and split her face open with blood everywhere. There were 2 Oaks staff standing at the kiosk a man and lady. I ran over to them and explained that the child had been injured and that they would need to get some first aid organised. There was absolutely no rush from either of them. The dad had to run and get a towel to stop the bleeding whilst the female staff member just stood there watching and talking to him. A few minutes passed, and she said she would need to go to the restaurant to get a first aid kit as there wasn't one at the waterslide kiosk. That is CRAZY! Firstly, there should be one at the kiosk. Secondly, you should have staff that have first aid training. Thirdly move your butt quickly when you can see a child has blood pouring out of their head! The hotel was lucky this wasn't my child because I would have shoved a rocket up the hotel's backside for how your staff handled this situation! My husband and our friend also ordered lunch from a different younger staff member at the waterslide area, and they said she was rude and treated them as if they had inconvenienced her by ordering meals. Then, when they asked if they picked them up at the waterslides, she rolled her eyes at them and told them they had to go to the pool bar in 10 minutes. We hadn't stayed at your resort before, so we weren't aware of the process. She could have been more polite and informed the guests of the process
