This is the best hotel I stayed in during my trip to California, USA. The room is large and there is a fireplace for heating. The environment is very good. It is right on the beach. You can watch the sunset around the bonfire and watch the groups of people standing on the beach. Seabirds, you can also play on the beach, the service is very good, thank you to Ctrip customer service for helping to book this hotel.

The location was fabulous. Just what we wanted !!The check in process was a little tedious but we got processed in time according to their guide. Was hoping to check in earlier.

There was a problem with the water - none in the rooms but by evening it was re rectified. Employees were friendly and polite. Enjoyed our stay!

We have stayed here many times in the last 25 years and it is always great. The view and the a**osphere keeps us returning back. We have tried other locations on Moonstone Beach, but this is our favorite.

The location of the Fog Catcher is fantastic. It was highly recommended to us. But the whole property is definitely showing its age, and maintenance is struggling to keep up. Also, we twice requested to have our room serviced, according to Fogcatcher's offered services. This did not happen, so we hauled our wet towels and trash to the front desk. Though apologetic about these issues, the management offered to compensate us, then also failed to follow through. To us, it was not worth the money. Shop around.

Great location, across from Moonstone Beach. Spacious room with two queen beds. We’re told the room had a partial ocean view but it was when the door was open. Our room was in need of TLC. One broken window shade, sink slow to drain, and cleanliness issues. The bed sheets felt like polyester, which was too hot for me. I also appreciate lodging to offer filtered water to fill our bottles so we don’t have to use plastic. This hotel did not have this amenity. Just a few minutes drive into the quaint town of Cambria.

We love this hotel and I understand there was storm damage. When we arrived we were placed in a back 900 room but we were able to upgrade to a front room but had to pay more, not good. We stayed 3 nights and the other 2 nights we moved to #107 which is what we wanted for the first night. I feel that our rate of $150 should have been honored on Friday

I had an incredible experience at the Fog Catcher Inn. The two specific individuals I would like to acknowledge are Pablo and Julli! They were diligent, kind and had wonderful recommendations for the area. Furthermore, the rooms were immaculately clean and the beds were liking sleeping on a cloud! Thank you to everyone that made our experience so special.
