Pretty disappointed as this was my 4th stay at Oceanpoint Ranch. There was one other time the front desk was not helpful, but I figured it was a one-off. This past weekend’s visit, I booked through my airline miles for a King Room, but got a smaller double bed room. We went back to the front desk, and they were completely unwilling to help, stating their records show a double bed booking, despite showing our confirmation for a larger king room. There were king rooms available, but the front desk told us the only way we’d get one is to upgrade and pay extra for it….? She said to come back the following morning to speak to management, and they weren’t available. Another front desk rep, Ciera, was just as unhelpful. She wouldn’t even print out a confirmation that we received a double bed room. She said there was “private information” on the screen she showed us, and the only thing she could print didn’t state we got a double room. How is that helpful? She said it’s the customer’s job to track down the other party and figure out why there was this system issue. I don’t so much mind the fact she couldn’t partially refund us, but it was the complete lack of care… and her rude tone while speaking to my boyfriend when he asked for a print out. She and the overnight front desk rep couldn’t be more disinterested to help. This will officially be my last stay here.
