Had Wi-Fi issues. The bathroom needs proper exhaust to control the moisture, and mold needs to be cleaned. Otherwise, it was a nice stay.

It is very suitable for self-driving travel. There are some restaurants such as McDonald's nearby. It takes 5-10 minutes to drive. It is convenient for eating. It is very quiet at night. The room has good sound insulation and is very hygienic. The staff who checked in in the afternoon were very enthusiastic and great ~

When I visit a friend in Cambridge I choose this accommodation over others if its available as its always a pleasant experience. Friendly service, clean and tidy room and complex and comfortable beds. Also good to know that proceeds are returned back into the community. Thanks

I had one night here when doing the Te Awa River Trail over a weekend. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and tidy and had everything I needed. Plus the surrounding area is very quiet. I'll stay here again and I recommend Podium Lodge to anyone wanting to stay in or near Cambridge.

Grey industrial area instead of green beautiful New Zealand. It's some sort of the office space not even classical cozy New Zealand motels. Black boxes with offices inside - ugly terrible design. You need to wash your own dishes and clean your own room too. Didn't provide us two rooms as we requested instead put in one small apartment together, didn't provide refund because of that and didn't even apologize. Owner is quite a grumpy person. Not recommended to international tourists.

I stayed here for one night in August 2023. The lodge is about a ten-minute drive from Hamilton airport, and a couple of minutes into Cambridge. It would probably be a half-hour walk. The lodge is located on a quiet rural road, just off one of the main roads into Cambridge. The setting is very peaceful. The room was very large with a kitchenette and separate bathroom. It would be ideal for a long stay as it has all the conveniences. In the complex there's a room with a large-screen TV and kitchenette and vending machines (a social area where people can mix), a laundry, charging point for electric vehicles, and plenty of carparking. I chose Podium Lodge given its closeness to Hamilton airport and would certainly do so again.

First of all the staff are just fantastic at this motel😀 Friendly and helpful. The studio unit was clean and comfortable and at a reasonable price. There was plenty of grass area for our dog which was easy to get to and the location of the motel was great just being a quick drive from the Cambridge township. Good quality comfortable bed too😀 Thank you Bill for a great stay😀

Very warm comfy units. Everything you need on hand. We flew into Auckland then drove down to Cambridge, new motorway makes it a easy drive. Easy to Find, modern luxury apartments. Would definitely stay again.
