We booked this travel lodge as my mum had to be at the papworth hospital earlier The next morning, my mum had to have oxygen and the lady on reception was rude to her didn’t speak to her directly but referred to her and disable all the time, we had oxygen delivered to the room which I confirms with another staff member over the phone a few days before we arrived and was told It wasn’t a problem, we ended up needing an engineer out as the oxygen wasn’t working and we just got tutted at by said staff member, when we made a complete to the travel Lodge all we got was you booked via a third party so there own staff wasn’t a problem, would stay here again if I was paid too, rude with no need to be

Clean, basic hotel with helpful staff. Would recommend but someone was spying and commenting on my actions in my private room. I did inform the Reception Desk. Services area needs some more active supervision to stop male tarts soliciting / pernicious, slandering females with kids endangering customers' wellbeing.

Even though the hotel is far from Cambridge downtown, it is clean and surrounded by several stores where one can get everything when needed. The reception ladies are very handful, and they provided help when we needed it. Getting an Uber from the hotel is also tricky, as it depends on the time of the day you request one.

Did exactly what it needed to do with no drama..very good all round

A very quiet, clean Travelodge with friendly staff. Located close to both Duxford Imperial War Museum and Cambridge it was the ideal base for us.

Had to travel to Cambridge at short notice so needed somewhere close to the hospital. A perfect fit at a budget price.

Have stayed here before, over 12 years ago and it still remains shabby. More so the bathrooms. Old and outdated. Disabled rooms need revamping to cater for limited mobility guests - i.e. level access showers. Plus these rooms need to be nearer the entrance. Family rooms should be on the ground floor. And definitely no dogs should be allowed accept for guide dogs/service dogs.

Two night stay, Found the staff member on arrival very pleasant and helpful. In reception there was a table with extra tea and coffees to help yourself, really like this, definitely helped as I’m always wanting my tea later on in the evenings and I find there is not enough in the rooms when you go to any hotel so great touch! Room, was warm, clean and bed comfortable, had a view of the garden, I believe it’s something to do with a Bronze Age cemetery. Hotel is not far from central Cambridge which was great for myself and my husband. All staff even the housekeeping in the morning was lovely, we asked for clean towels and they happily did this for us. The evening team helped with microwaving our evening dinner too as we didn’t feel like going out. Overall great stay, staff lovely and would stay again.

Room was dirty and bathroom mouldy all round the bath and what looked like holes filled with poly filler in the bath too. Soap dispenser was Filthy and would defo not use!! The plastic surround around sink was dirty with marks that looked like cup marks still there and water marks all way the surrounds under sink. I tried speaking to reception but no one there and tried call them but no answer my husband is asmathic and the mould not good for him! We have stayed at plenty of travelodges for work and social and this has been the worst would not stay again.
