Holiday Inn Express Cambridge Reviews

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Cambridge for three nights and had a wonderful experience. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, ensuring that all my needs were met. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, making my stay very pleasant. One of the highlights was the complimentary breakfast, which offered a variety of options suitable for all dietary needs, including halal choices. This was particularly important for me as a Muslim traveler. The location was convenient, with easy access to public transport and key attractions in Cambridge. Despite being a bit outside the city center, the peaceful surroundings provided a relaxing atmosphere after a day of sightseeing. Overall, I highly recommend the Holiday Inn Express Cambridge for its excellent service, comfortable accommodations, and thoughtful amenities.

Room is a bit old but acceptable. But in the rooms there's this door which links with the next room, which definitely doesn't have the best soundproof in the world.

Room is dirty and has a smell, breakfast was alright and it a 10mins drive away from city centre. Bear in mind there’s no aircon…

Good Hotel for a short stay.

The hotel was a little bit further than I expected from the town centre. There is a bus route that can go to the town but it's up to a 10 min walk. It would be great if the hotel provided at least a shuttle service because taxis were also quite expensive just for a few miles. The hotel itself was presentable, the staff was helpful and nice, and the rooms were also spacious enough and clean with all the usual amenities. My room had the disabled bathroom so it was a little bigger I think but the drainage needs sorting out because the whole floor almost flooded with water. The heating A/C was working well and quiet. Breakfast the next morning was included in the price and the choice was basic but enough. I did feel that the plate was smaller than many other places I've stayed at but I guess that was to avoid food waste. They had scambled egg only, sausages, bacon, beans, toast, tea/coffee/juice, 3 cereals and spreads for toast-not bad but could be a little better in variety.

The hotel has all you need and is located reasonably convenient, value for money. Food quality at breakfast is good. Staff is professional and helpful.

Stay at Cambridge for two days, the hotel is a nice place to stay to visit Cambridge.

The location is quite far from the city centre and it is difficult to find a car park. The overall environment and breakfast are excellent, and the staff is very friendly. The room is quite big, everything you need is there.

Location is like in the middle of the jungle.... Bus station far... Supermarket far.... Everything far.....

Nice quiet location away from the busy city centre. Clean facilities and friendly service.

The hotel is clean and convenient. However reception staffs are not quite welcome and lack of hospitality manners.

We had a great short stay at the hotel, where staff were incredibly friendly and helpful with whatever we needed. The food at breakfast was excellent and had everything we could want, and Patrik at the bar was brilliant! Definitely would recommend if you’re in the area and need somewhere reliable to stay.

This hotel is very good! Absolutely love that they are clean and tidy! Location is good if you have a car.
