being right next to train station is priceless. Trains are available frequently and it takes 7 mins to cambridge. Lovation wise it might be even better than staying somewhere in Cambridge outskirts. breakfast was really nice but hotel/room is a bit outdated and needs a renovation. nonetheless it’s a good place for a short stay.

For our regular visits for judging Photographic Competitions run by the EAF (East Anglian Federation). Fabulous dinner at Tickell Arms (see separate review). Best to have a room overlooking the car park. The A505 which runs right by the hotel is less of a disturbance than the railway at the back. That said, our weekend the Trains were on strike - AGAIN. Perfectly adequate Breakfast facilities. Good bed, not as fine as Premier Inn (see separate reviews), but we love having a walk in Shower. Hayling Seagoon

The hotel is situated in a very convenient location from the Imperial War Museum, such a lovely place. The staff were very friendly especially Malika and there was another lady with glasses, but I didn’t catch her name. We were a bit early, but they checked us in anyway. The food menu was good and had decent options, we loved the atmosphere of the place and the breakfast was very good with loads of options, really set you off for the day. We will definitely come back.

We stayed here for a business meeting and the hotel seems in a very good condition. The staff was very lovely, especially Malika, she was very friendly, lovely smile and courteous. The food menu was also good than other express I’ve stayed in. Will definitely be back!

Fantastic friendly helpful staff. They really made our business trip a pleasure. Very polite and friendly service. Most importantly everyone seemed happy to be there. We will certainly rebook. Purely down to the staff. The hotel is busy and clean. The ONLY downside is the carpark charge. Beware you have to pay for Carparking and it gets full pretty quickly.
