Cambridge (A14, J32)

Exceptional staff. From the people at the front desk to the staff in the restaurant to, include the chef. They were all extremely friendly and professional. I travel a lot and this has been one of the nicest Premier Inns I have stayed in. Great food. Especially the steak. Clean and quiet rooms.

Fabulous welcome and high standard of accommodation! We needed to be handy for Ely and visited for weekend. This hotel is by far one of the best Premier inn’s we have stayed in. It was exceptionally clean, the staff were friendly and professionally and breakfast was excellent. The bed and line was what you might expect in a 5 star hotel too. Would highly recommend.

Normally I stay in self catering when I attend a regular course in Cambridge but I decided to stay here as it was easier to eat. Really super little hotel at great rates, staff v friendly (Ben in bar was great), and cannot do enough for you, clean and quiet rooms and meal deal did the job, unfussy pub grub. Location is excellent as easy access to A10 and M11. Will defo stay again!

Stayed here to visit our daughter at uni as it was close by and very reasonably priced. We requested a cot as we had outer youngest with us which was provided. Make sure you take an extra thick blanket as the cot matress was very thin. Bed comfy and room clean. We had breakfast which was well cooked, hot and not a bad selection. Coffee was decent - from a machine. Highchair available and we had a good stay. Will definitely return in future for our visits. Would recommend for a trip to Cambridge, brilliant location for us and very good value for money.

Great location within a very short drive of the centre of Cambridge with good public transport links too in this quiet residential area. Local shops and good hotel restaurant. Top score for comfort, cleanliness, warmth and cosiness as expected but with excellent staff efficiency, friendliness and go the extra mile attitude. Great value freshly cooked breakfast with vegan /vegetarian options and porridge made to order. Good coffee. Ample safe free parking.

Pleased with this Premier Inn overall. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room was the normal good standard. Restaurant had a nice a**osphere and the food was very good.

The bed was the most uncomfortable we have experienced with a Premier Inn, the matrress was so hard, stayed for 2 nights, the second night my husband slept on the single sofa/bed which he said was slightly more comfortable. The breakfast was good with a lot to choose from but the evening meal wasn't, the bruschetta starter which was actually a round garlic flatbread with some cold cherry tomatoes and vinegar on was so hard I couldn't cut it and had to pick it up to eat, the chips were just warm and undercooked, the mixed grill was edible but not great, we didn't complain as was getting late and was tired from having very little sleep the night before. Staff were pleasant. Disappointed as always enjoyed our Premier Inn stays before.

Room smelt of smoke and had a musky smell throughout even though it was a non-smoking room. Spent a horrible night and could not wait to check out the following morning.
