The reservation was for a spa hotel, but all the spa trea**ents booked for multiple days were broken, and the customer was not notified in advance.

Vacation with my wife. The view from the room is first-class. The service is very average. The elevator is broken. The bar on the rooftop has the best view, and it has never been open. The attitude is rather indifferent

The breakfast is average, normal standard, nothing special. The room is too small, it is rare to live in such a small room at this price. There was only one chair in the room, and the waiter asked for an extra chair. Judging from the picture posted on the door, we lived in the smallest room in the entire hotel. Really unhappy.

Amazing service from start to finish, we used the valet which made things so easy and the check in was straight forward. The room was spotless and they also had a cake waiting for us as we were the to celebrate a birthday. We were the floor below the restaurant (which was outstanding!) but there was no noise or disturbance at all. The view from our balcony was great, so nice to have a drink out there before heading for dinner and also to have a coffee the next morning. We didn't use the spa facilities as the weather was good so we were out and about. The hotel is in the centre so everything you could want was within a few minutes walk. We will definitely be returning! Thank you Varsity!

My favourite hotel in a nice spot in Cambridge, where I stay for business. I've stayed in most hotels in Cambridge but I keep coming back to this one. Great boutique rooms with interesting themes. The staff always goes above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Also there is a high -end spa and gym that you can access during the stay.

We have been wanting to stay here for many years, having visited the roof terrace many times whilst visiting Cambridge. I have to say it didnt dissapoint, the staff were wonderful, professional and attentive, nothing was to much trouble. They gave us a complimentary upgrade, to a fabulous room that overlooked the Cambridge skyline. We will be back soon!!

We were looked after from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. All the staff were so helpful and clearly just wanted to ensure we had a great stay. We ate in the 6 restaurant and it didn’t disappoint. We had a great view across Cambridge and the food was absolutely delicious. The breakfast was also superb, they had everything we needed and again we enjoyed morning views across Cambridge. We would certainly recommend the Varsity, we couldn’t fault anything about our stay and we’ll certainly be back!

I was immediately greeted by such friendly staff who not only had my room ready 90 minutes before check in but also gave me a fantastic complimentary upgrade. The room was of a good standard and featured a wonderful balcony overlooking the Cambridge city skyline. I had dinner in my second night at the hotel and the lobster was gorgeous. I enjoyed this with a fantastic Margherita and the service was very attentive. Breakfast on both mornings was of a high standard with quality produce. Would highly recommend this hotel and restaurant, which is conveniently located in the heart of the city.
