Had a meal for 20 people in private dining room for my son’s 21st. Venue and event organisers were outstanding. Evening was a huge success. Pre dinner drinks and post dinner cigars were a great touch beautifully delivered by hardworking staff. Food was all on point and everyone’s came out perfect. But the standout element was Attila who served our thirsty and hungry group all evening. He was thoughtful and attentive and had a professional edge. I think he elevated the experience for all our guests. Hotel du Vin deserve real credit for their Cambridge Hotel event offering. I’m so pleased we chose there and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others. Thank-you for having us.

We absolutely loved the stay here at the Du vin and Bistro, I booked a room for me and my husband and one for my mother, My mother was looked after very well, I want to that Kalpana who absolutely went above to help my mother, she is in her 80's and helped with her needs, changed the room, my mom told she was always coming to the reception for help and with large smile was served and we are amazed with all the experience and had wonderful 2 nights stay. Room Geoff Merrill was amazing,We absolutely loved the breakfast. Thanks to the team and Kalpana again for all the care.

I was booked in to another hotel, due to bad experience I have to search for one, I found Hotel Duvin walked in the reception, lovely ladies over and Kalpana was so understanding listening to my moaning and gave me a good deal, showed me couple of rooms and made me choose which was the best part, Stayed in gaudium and the room was clean and tidy, little hot but otherwise it was good, I opened the window and Kalpana delivered me a fan, she is an outstanding person for customer service who goes above and beyond, her genuine smile makes even more better, I also wanted to appreciate David from Bistro who served me for Dinner and also for the breakfast, the staffs make everything perfect, I will be back.

The hotel as whole was warm and welcoming,Kalpana the manager was so helpful very polite, I booked standard room and upgraded me to Geoffmerill I paid £350 for upgrade 7nights in total and never regretted, whatever requested was done immediately and all the staffs in the reception was so helpful, Kalpana was impressive. I haven’t used any other facilities apart from Library to read books because I came for business purpose. The Housekeeping staff who came to clean and tidy the room did well. Overall wonderful stay, The hotel standout for good customer service and will refer to my colleagues.

Convenient location, clean and rooms a bit dark. I have stayed here before and would again. Sadly when I left today and went to check out I said good morning and was ignored by two staff members more interested in their PC than me and my desire to check out. A sour end to my stay. I guess some people aren't equipped to work in the service industry.

Hotel Du Vin is one of the best stay we had in Cambridge, Warm welcoming, Kalpana at the reception was so helpful, at check in we had conversation and told her about the worst stay we had in another hotel and upgraded us to suite and 2 nights we stayed in Huia , the rooms are named after wine's , wonderful room spacious and big bathroom, so modern and traditional too had coffee machine and amenities complimentary, wonderful terrace garden and wonderful weather, Also we appreciate Kalpana she booked us dinner for the 1st night and recommended Bistro which was a good decision too, delicious food and wine, the bar underground had nice ambience , we had breakfast in the morning nice and delicious buffet, the pastries are so tasty they make there. We absolutely had amazing night and felt like home, we highly recommend.

Wonderful hotel to stay, Room was spacious, clean and the bath was amazing, we loved staying here and the Bistro breakfast was amazing , shame we couldn’t use dinner but next time, staffs all were helpful, shout out to Kalpana who helped us to get good room and also showed few options gave us recommendations and more importantly always smiling . We will definitely be back.
