Holiday Inn Express Cambridge West - Cambourne

The hotel facilities are relatively new and there is free parking. The only drawback is that the room is a bit small. Breakfast is quite rich, with hot things to eat, such as scrambled eggs, sausages, potato pancakes, etc.

Cambridge City Center
Cambridge is an expensive town. That said, the price of the room did not reflect the amenities or the size of the room. Basically, the bathroom was so small as to be useless, and the bedroom very poorly lit and felt cluttered. The hotel is on top of a very cozy pub near Jesus Green, and within a comfortable walk to city centre. The room was clean and relatively quiet (the pub/hotel are located at a big intersection with frequent traffic). It would be ideal if the room price was closer to 100£, rather than 200£…

I had an absolutely remarkable experience. From the moment I stepped into the elegant lobby, I was greeted by warm smiles and a genuine sense of hospitality that lasted throughout my entire stay. The ambiance was nothing short of enchanting. The tastefully designed interiors exuded a sense of sophistication and tranquility, creating the perfect atmosphere for relaxation. My room was spacious and was meticulously clean and beautifully appointed. The comfortable bed and luxurious amenities ensured a blissful night's sleep. One aspect that truly set this aparthotel apart was its exceptional staff. Every interaction was met with impeccable service and attention to detail. Furthermore, the aparthotel's facilities were top-notch. The well-equipped gym offered a range of rejuvenating activities, allowing me to unwind and indulge in self-care. In conclusion, my stay was nothing short of extraordinary. Impeccable service, breathtaking surroundings, and attention to detail made it an unforgettable experience. I would highly recommend this aparthotel to anyone seeking a truly exceptional stay in Cambridge.

Travelodge Cambridge Newmarket Road

Starting with their location, its quite far from Cambridge Station. From Cambridge Station to hotel: by walk is around 22 mins, by bus is 19-22 mins (£2.80 Adult). From Cambridge City Centre to hotel: by walk is around 27 mins, by bus is 15-19 mins (£1.50 Adult - Elizabeth Way Stop, £1.80 Adult - Newmarket Road stop) Their sevices are ok, friendly and respectful. But no smile, as in poker face. Cleanliness is on point. Absolutely clean and spotless. Very comfortable. As for amenities, they provide all-in-one wash which is bodywash + shampoo in one container fixed firmly on the wall. No bar soap.

Travelodge wouldn’t have been a bad memory except for TRIP that made it a horrible one for me , I definitely sure this would be my last dealing with them. Here is my ordeal with Travelodge and TRIP.com, on arriving the hotel I discovered the hotel has no air conditioning and it was terribly hot in London, I immediately notified the hotel of my intention to check out which they agreed to and are willing to give me a refund , unfortunately the TRIP customer service kept going round and round with the situation inorder for them to make me finish my stay at the hotel even with the fact that I complained it wasn’t comfortable, to be honest the hotel did their best to ensure I get my refund but trip messed everything up, there was practically nothing they didn’t do to make sure I didn’t check out even when someone from the hotel spoke with them about their willingness to give me a refund this is the hotel Ass. Manager ( Mrs Gosia) . I had a very terrible experience with trip and it is definitely going to be my last . I couldn’t sleep most of the night because of the terrible heat at night thanks to trip. 😞
