Loved staying at the Nam Bo! The staff were all so pleasant and helpful. Our room was much bigger than expected especially in a boutique hotel, with a bed room and separate sitting area. We were only in Can Tho for one night, and unfortunately it was drizzling. But we sat under the roof on the outside terrace overlooking the river and had a lovely dinner. Breakfast was delicious, kind of a continental plus plus. All the waitstaff were so friendly and helpful. It was nice to stay in a small, cozy property. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Nam Bo!

The hotel has a very modern design with youthful colors, a comfortable space with games in the lobby, and enthusiastic and attentive staff. The hotel is clean, the staff is very enthusiastic. I really like the free cafe and cakes area for guests staying at the hotel. Because I arrived earlier than expected at 11:30, luckily at the beginning of the week, there was a room that was very happy for me to check in early without charge.

KKEZHIThe environment is really great, the island is left alone, there are lush ancient banyan trees everywhere, the rooms are sanitary twice a day, the quality of the hotel staff is also very good, and they smile every time they meet. On the island, you can ride a bicycle and dance with nature in the fragrance of lotus. It is really beautiful! The most important thing is that in this fight against the epidemic, the hotel staff did not exclude the Chinese, helped us prepare all the items we needed, consulted on our flight situation many times, and made us feel the warmth of home in a foreign land. So far, the only hotel that is not tired after staying for six nights.

663221084This is a small family run accommodation, with home cooked meals and a personal touch. The family were friendly, with the 2 younger ladies having good English. The room was lovely, and although we chose an air con room which was described as being first floor and not on the water, this did it an injustice. It was up about 5 steps onto the verandah, and although the verandah wasn't sticking out OVER the water (as some of the rooms were), it was right next to the water and facing it. So we were very pleased. I guess the room was a little on the small side, but it was perfectly fine for our needs, with a comfortable bed and good air con. I don't think staff came inside the room at all during our stay, but they did leave fresh towels outside for us each day. We had fun trying out the kayaks one day, for the life of me I don't know how we didn't fall in as it was so wobbly on getting in! We also used the hotel's free bikes, which was great. They gave us a map of where to go, to get to Can Tho itself, and talked us through it to ensure we were clear. I was then able to easily follow the route on Google Maps. We really enjoyed the cycle trip, it was a good chance to venture out on our own, and to explore Can Tho. We were asked each day to confirm what time we wanted to eat, I guess with it being home cooked food it helped them to plan ahead. All food was delicious, you didn't choose from a menu - which I hadn't realised, so was a bit alarmed when food just was brought to the table on our first evening, as I am vegetarian and my husband is not very adventurous with his food! But they had remember I had noted being veggie on my booking and had done me something specially, and we both really enjoyed our food. They had an honesty system for drinks, where you helped yourself, and wrote down on bit of paper what you had consumed. Then at the end they used that to create your bill. The only small thing I'd say is that I hadn't realised from the online photos, that there is actually nowhere near the pool to sit and sunbathe. It wasn't a big deal for us, we still took a couple of dips in the pool, but had we intended to stay more nights we'd have definitely been a bit disappointed there. All in all we loved staying here, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

JJames1219This hotel is in a nice location, not far from the river, quiet in the evenings. Not far from important places.
It is a large hotel with big rooms, large reception area, easy parking, has a grand feeling to it.
But the hotel is not being kept up well. Walls have marks on them, carpets have stains, it looks and feels old. And so instead of making renovations and modern changes, they include breakfast buffets and lower the price some days. It’s too bad, I’m sure when the hotel first opened, many people talked about it.

222Johannes12The hotel is very close to the harbor. Staff is friendly and helpful. We booked our tour to the floating market Cai Rang over the hotel. Our nice tour guide Mr. Hai picked us up at 5 in the morning at the hotel. With a small boat (not a tourist boat) in the morning mood we went up the river to Cai Rang. During the trip Hai told us many interesting details about the market Cai Rang, life in the market and at the Detalta. Then it went to a pasta factory and in an orchard. We can highly recommend you tour with Mr. Hai!!!

GGuest UserWe have never gave bad review but today we have to. We booked 9 rooms for 3 nights here. We came early around 10:30 in the morning, very rude dude in the front desk kept saying we can't get in until 2pm. We didn't expect to get in sooner than 2pm but it seem he was not happy with too many people (18 people) around the lobby too early. The hotel is super old, dark and dirty. You can see layers of dust everywhere, spiderwebs at all conners. Lot of guests are smoking inside the hotel (Lobby - No smoking area) They gave us 6 rooms first (3 rooms later whenever they are ready). My room was on the 3rd floor which is where they do body massage business on the same floor. It was terrible, my room was badly smell, dirty, creepy and wet. I couldn't think twice, left the room and went to the lobby. When i reached to lobby i already saw all my people from my group down there - they just left their rooms because same reasons. We have been staying hotels all over the world and never seen any hotel that bad. We left the hotels and stay at other hotel nearby. Called agoda to try to get the money back. The hotel manager there kept telling lie to Agoda and refused to cancel our bookings. We lost all money for 9 rooms x 3 nights, but we glad we did. Worst hotel ever

GGuest UserDishonest and misleading hotel. Believe the poor reviews. Lots of ************ business in the area. I had booked hotel room for 7 days but cancelled it after staying one night. I booked two rooms via agoda. When I got to the hotel yesterday, I was informed that the included breakfast was not at their hotel. Hotel receptionist said it was hotel policy to keep passport. I told her she could take a photocopy of it but I was uncomfortable with her keeping it. She insisted that was the only way we could get the room and she would return it in the morning. Although hotel is new, it is poorly constructed and necessary amenities are lacking. Hand soap for both rooms were unavailable and hotel staff said they ran out. Rooms did not have safety latch on doors. Room safes were light metal boxes that can easily be lifted and removed from room. What’s the point? Bathtub shower is mounted about knee height, and there are no shower curtains so water drips everywhere. Breakfast was at a different hotel and was clearly stale old food that they must have put out for multiple days now. 90% of the businesses in this neighborhood are massage parlours that advertise “beautiful girls between 18-25.” Based on the men that hang around the neighborhood and the amount of massage parlours, I would not recommend any hotel in this area. Many of the hotels in the neighborhood have massage parlours attached to their hotel and have signs offering hotel room rentals by the hour. Holiday 2 hotel has a “massage parlour” as well on the 11th floor. Before I checked out I went to see if it was a real massage spa. Clearly it was not as they were not open yet and it was already noon. The room has a bed rather than a massage table. I had agoda cancel the rest of my booking with this hotel. Agoda was able to cancel for me without any charges, but the hotel refused to release my passport unless I paid for the two hotel rooms at an inflated price, their walk in price. I ended up having to pay double the rate that I had paid agoda in order to have hotel release my passport back. And the hotel had the audacity to try to charge me for the breakfast even though it was included in the agoda price. I moved to a different hotel and paid more but i am so glad i left this hotel and the neighbourhood it is in. This place will try to squeeze get every extra dollar they can from you.

NNELLI123456789Every time we went to Can Tho, we stayed to the Saigon Cantho Hotel. This time we saw the deterioration of this hotel which is no longer a 3 star hotel. Very nice welcome. The people at the reception are always friendly and professional. They are very customer-friendly. There is no longer a bellboy to carry the luggage and show the rooms. Our bedroom and bathroom were clean and quiet. THE NEGATIVE : the buffet breakfast included in the price is a disaster, a joke of bad taste. No respect for hotel guests. The servers are completely incompetent : one of them, the tallest in size, hides behind the counter to play on his phone. The other boy, behind his soup cart, tries to do his job and that of his friend, but seems to have no motivation. No manager came during our presence to monitor the work of the servers. They are left to their own devices without any control from their leader. Buffet food is miserable and looks like leftover meals from the day or days before. Many customers enter the buffet breakfast room, watch the culinary disaster and leave without even having a coffee. Such a situation is unworthy of a 3 star hotel. From now on I will stay in another hotel in Can Tho.
