Super 8 by Wyndham Canandaigua

I didn’t even take my purse off my shoulder when I walked in the room. I knew as soon as I drove up to the property As soon as I walked into the room, I was like “oh no, there is no way I’m staying here!” It’s a place where you couldn’t even take your shoes off to walk to the bathroom. I don’t think Wyndham understands who is representing their property or they would pull that license. It was terrible! And it was more like an apartment than a hotel because people were actually living there. I thought I was gonna wake up chopped up and stuffed in the ice machine. It was straight out of a horror movie.

When we arrived, the hotel was under construction. We were informed there would be no breakfast service. It would have been nice to have heard about that when I made the reservation a month ago. We were initially led to a room that stunk of mildew and was about 50 degrees. We refused to stay in that room. They sent us to another room, where neither of the lights by the beds worked (there were no plugs, the cords had been cut), using the TV was difficult and required the front desk person to come upstairs. When we needed more toilet paper, no one answered three calls to front desk. Every time we came into the hotel, one or more of the staff were standing out front smoking. Overall, very disappointed. We have stayed in that motel seven out of the past eight years and have never been dissatisfied. Until now.
