Worst view I’ve had from my balcony-just white brick wall!
Bathroom stunk of sewerage so bad one day could really use it. Had to get up 730am to get a sunbed and still very few left then!!! Not enough beds round pool area.
Very packed and loud on the evenings and just karaoke and disco after 10pm! Not worth the money I paid

This is my third Hard Rock resort I have stayed at. The Cabo and Punta Cana locations are in a completely different class than Cancun location. This is pushing a 3 star hotel. To say this is a 5 star hotel is absolutely criminal.i visited for a business company trip and everyone who I work with had some comments. To say this is a fixer upper is an understatement. My sink broke and was running water for more than 2 hours till they came. Ironically enough another colleague experienced same problem. My shower door was unhinged and could not shut so naturally it flooded bathroom every single shower. Tiles moldy in corner of showers. Food was decent and staff was good. Unfortunately the resort itself is an outdated dump that looks like a seedy motel vs resort. I strongly recommend a hard pass on this resort regardless of your purpose for visit. It was so bad we were suppose to leave Sunday and changed flight to leave a day early. Keep in mind it’s an all inclusive trip that I paid $0.00 for a still feel like I wasted my time being here.thats how bad this place sucks

For the attention grabber: I got STUCK in the SHOWER! Yes, I really did... They have glass doors and the door was falling off the hinge and got stuck on the floor. I was afraid of pulling any harder because I didn't want to break the door and have it shatter on me. I had to wait until my husband found me, then another 30 min for the hotel maintenance to come and get me out. Yes, it took them 30 minutes to come to my room and help. Their "compensation" for my trouble - an upgrade to VIP which really only means you have access to better quality alcohol until 6pm at a bar no one goes to because it is on a different floor. So basically - nothing. The quality of the alcohol was very low at the other bars. They claim they have patron (which to me is not good quality) but I think they only have one bottle per day and get rid of it by the time it's 11:00 a.m. You can tell the hotel used to be great - now, the service is great, food is good but the hotel is rundown. Not dirty but rundown. The pool is falling apart (tiles are everywhere) the window tints are peeling off and everything just feels old and dated. I understand they are renovating in October, if that happens I would come back... Until then, no way. Oh but definitely NOT WITH KIDS - I wouldn't call the people there kid friendly. Oh and when it says Deluxe 2 bedroom - it is not a suite it is just adjoining 2 rooms. We thought we were booking a suite. Large disappointment. Also, we were on the 7th floor and can hear the shows going on and music until late hours.

I traveled in April with my wife and two sons ages 15 and 17. The beach area is amazing. If you are looking for a great beach this is the place to go. All the wait staff and workers are kind and willing to help. Our butlers Hector and Raphael were very helpful. Even Rorro who was out butler last year remembered us and was super helpful. We are at all the restaurants with Isla being our favorite. Roy was a great waiter at Isla restaurant We will definitely come back but we are hearing the resort will be under some renovation so we will wait and see.

Spent the last week at the Hard Rock Cancun and enjoyed every last minute of it. We had the hall of fame package with exclusive amenities and an awesome butler team, Hector and Rafa. Hector and Rafa took care of us the whole trip and made us feel like VIP. Thank you Hector and Rafa and to the Hard Rock for such a fantastic trip!

The Hard Rock Cancun resort is not the biggest resort we have stayed at but offered quality restaurants, multiple bars, and best of all a fantastic beach. The beach was not rocky or full of sea **** like other areas around Cancun. The service was great and food was very good. Would have been an almost prefect rating except for the pushy sales people for the "Legendary" vacation club. After telling 3 sales people no, we had to tell 2 more sales people we were not interested, and then another person again when we were trying to leave the hotel. It was a waste of more than 2 hours of our valuable vacation time. Classic bait and switch for no value as any "resort credit" is still subject to 25% which is the amount you would pay just booking yourself. Most of the excursions also do not include transportation from the resort so we took a taxi to the ferry then over to isla mujeres on 2 different days. Several fun bars and ocean beach clubs to see along your golf cart journey of the island. If you skip the time share sales pitch you will have a great time!!!
