Hotels Near Piquete Loucos Pela Tradição in Canoas

We visited this same hotel last year and wrote a 5 star excellent review. Things changed and not for the better. Our week long stay was not entirely enjoyable. While the hotel retains some of the quality, the quality of service and room standards has gone down noticibly. Specifically, wait staff is not attentive as before and even during non peak dining hours, wait times for the first greeting and offer of a drink were long. The food was well done but taste varied between lunch and dinner, dinner being the better meal selecting the same dish. We asked 3 times for the room to be cleaned while we took a break from work. The room was not cleaned when we returned. After ordering room service, tray pick up took 3 hours. Then, when we called back to insist they remove the tray, the restaurant called our room within 5 minutes to find out where thier coffee and not milk thermos was and insisted on knowing exactly what was in the room still. We felt like inmates rather than guests. The room we were in for a week was nothing like the room on the same floor on our first trip. Cheap artificial wood TV shelves replace beautiful dressers and the room felt like a holiday inn rather than an elegant hotel like our last trip. The highlight of our stay was Rosemarie (we think) in housekeeping. She's a delight and obviously a remanent of the old days. Alberto and Taylor in the dining room were the only waiters who made us feel comfortable. One waitress moved around so quickly, we were holding our glasses to be sure they were not taken. Very nervous way of serving tables. Another waitress took so long to serve us with guests, I had to get up 3 times to find help. The bell captains were also excellent and helped greatly. (Maybe they should be put in charge of the front desk and dining room!) If you need to stay in Porto Alegre, you'll want to stay here but be prepared and if you stayed before as we did, prepare yourself for the changes in room quality and service level. Not sure what happened but it's not the same place anymore.

We have two main Accor properties next to the Salgado Filho Airport, one Ibis and this Novotel. I am a frequent guest in both franchises, but for this time I chose Novotel to have a more refined experience. For my surprise, I had the feeling that I went to the wrong place and stayed at Ibis. This is not bad at all, since Ibis is a very honest chain, but I was a little disappointed. To start I used the paid self-parking, no vallet parking, which is good in pandemic times, but unusual in Novotel properties. Second, the design of the rooms (mine was a standard one) was quite the same of an Ibis one with slightly better furniture and materials inside. The restaurant at ground floor also seemed like one from Ibis in an open space. Breakfast was as expected. In summary, there is absolutely nothing wrong with this property, staff is friendly and room service works fine. Maybe my expectations were too high. Daily fare is around USD20 more than the Ibis located half mile from this Novotel, which seems fair.

It is a very well located hotel in the airport area and very easy access ( 10min ) from the br290 q is the way for q it comes to beaches of Florian poli . It has a covered car . Comfortable room . Very good full breakfast for the segment . The hotel was very friendly and helpful. Check in /out very fast Well sounded for being near the airport. Very good price/service equation The bad q the Hab 206 wifi did not work

If you travel for fun, then the price and the enviromento is fine.But if you travel for business, this is one of the worst hotel I have experience, the receptionist has really bad atitude, they dont speak english and they descriminate foreigners. Second, they dont know how to make an invoice correctly with the CNPJ. They misspelled the name or not putting the whole adress correctly. And when i ask to change, they complain and give a bad atittude. I will not reserve this hotel for any of my clientes anymore. If the hotel wants to grow, the receptionists need to receive proper training once in a while. But

Assi 51 Nahalat Binyamin street Mifgash Asi is a lovely spot for breakfast or just coffee. the place named after Assi Dayan, decorated with fascinating memorabilia of Dayan, a culture hero and one of Israel's greatest film makers, author, actor, drug addict and pharmaceutical wonder

The room is comfortable (Ap. 1008), but they could put some more cabins, we also missed cabinets. WiFi works perfectly. Breakfast is honest, but the restaurant and room service are expensive for what they offer. In the bathroom, it would be interesting to put the toilet paper door near the sanitary vase and to put in the box a ”panel or nick” to support shampoos.

This shop is one of the most cost-effective hotels in Porto Alegre. I have stayed there every year since my business trip in 2013, because the first time I didn’t know it was in another hotel, this hotel is more suitable for business and holiday families. There is a kitchen, the breakfast is really invincible and delicious, the new restaurant moved to the street side, the street view is superb! There is a memorial park next to it, and there are various roadside fruit stalls. It is very safe and you can walk around. It feels like a small European town! The steak of the hotel is good, and the restaurant becomes a bar for drinking in the evening!

I had been hosting at Hotel Plaza São Rafael several times, and I like the hotel to the memory of his love and the city of Porto Alegre since I was a child. However, at this last occasion I found several indices of a reversal in the quality of the hosting, and the staff in general, very heartily and well trained, but some others, clearly without vocation for the hotel industry. In the last place I stayed in a very old room and needed a pension, the bathroom boxing, unexplainedly, was located at the highest point of the floor, causing water accumulation and extravagation outside the boxing at each bathroom. When you arrived at the hotel and until the next day, the card recording system for accessing apartments was not working, which required you to go to the reception every time you were absent to attend a staff member to accompany you until the The hotel was a very good hotel, and the hotel was a good hotel. Stayed at Intercity Gravitai for a few weeks and the overall service was superb. Food was great, and the staff were all super friendly and accomodating. I will miss their welcoming smiles and attentiveness. Special shout out to Diorge, David, Camila and Dion at icafe, and also to Claudic who cleaned my room everyday and made sure I was comfortable. We had an cancellation of flight in Caxias do Sul, at 16/10/2023, and the airline LATAM, travelled us to Porto Alegre and hosted us at almost 30 km from the airport. We arrived at the hotel, around 21h. there was only one official to allocate about 30 people from a microbus. The company also released the consumption for dinner at Room Service, requests for me and for two more rooms travelling with me. The request was made by us at 21:37. It was a hamburger that arrived at 0h in my room, a soup and a salad that arrived in my sister's room at 1:47 and two sandwiches in another apartment of a friend couple, who received about 1:40 too. We were going out of the hotel at 3 p.m. to get the flight in time, that is, we could not even sleep or eat right. The apartment was good, but the service experience was scary not for the staff who were there, but for the lack of management planning to ensure when they accept such requests, have sufficient staff to meet the demand for peak moments.
