The Mount Nelson hotel in Cape Town is ideally situated next to the central gardens, government and museums. A shuttle is available to the V&A waterfront. From the moment you and your luggage arrive the staff are personable and attentive. The breakfast is exceptional, and the Verandah restaurant provides a calming ambiance. The spa masseuse are very capable and the spa a place to unwind. The hotel and its gardens provide for a peaceful stay and convenient access to the wine country and Cape of Good Hope. The hotel is steeped in ambience and the service on par with its historical beginnings. Can’t think of any hotel stay that was more satisfactory!

Почему единица. За все годы такое впервые. Остановились в данном. Отеле семьей в составе группы. При выезде сделал расчет с отелем. Через полтора месяца отель списал у меня с карты деньги за все номера группы. После выяснения данного вопроса получил от отеля разные версии. 1. Это ваша доплата за проживание. После того как прислал им мою банковскую выписку что расчет был при выезде они дали другую версию. 2. Компания которая организовывала тур не рассчиталась с ними. На мой вопрос почему это сделано через полтора месяца и почему взята оплата с меня за все номера группы внятно не ответили. 3. Для информации компания которая организовывала тур в ЮАР это UAR tours. Ее управленцы на территории других стран это Come.to.see Будьте внимательны с этими компаниями. Закончилось тем что мне вернули деньги после длительных разбирательств. Данный отель может использовать данные посетителей их банковских карт при решении своих споров с своими партнерскими компаниями. Можно стать заложником их споров.

A wonderful hotel. In my view, the best in Cape Town. Combining period charm with all the mod cons. And amazing service. The afternoon teas are just wonderful. Especially in the summer on the lawns. The beds are a slice of heaven. Pricey but worth it. They made the kids feel very welcome too

This hotel is befitting a King. Everything is beyond special. The grounds are stunning and the staff cant do enough for you. My wife and I felt like royalty. The Nellie is one of our favourite hotels in the world. Each time we stay we enjoy it even more than the last time which seems impossible !! Special mention to Adam Herbert and Chris who were always making sure our trip was perfect. We cant wait to return. Thanks so much to the fabulous staff/team at The Nellie.

Wonderful time all around - the staff were amazing and helpful, the room was so clean all the time and they turned down the room in the evening so it was perfect and peaceful when we got back. Location was great - not too far from waterfront but did need to uber ~15 minutes. Amazing!

When visiting Cape Town, one must stay at The Nellie. Perfect location, the rooms are beautifully designed and well appointed, and the staff was simply the best. From remembering which table we liked at breakfast as well as our coffee preferences, the front desk and concierge teams being so wonderfully welcoming and helpful, and housekeeping providing us with such thoughtful and attentive service…could not think of a better experience. Well done and thank you!
