The Tokyo Aparthotel by Totalstay
"Breakfast is really great for me"
Taj Cape Town
"Love hotel with friendly staff. Really enjoyed my stay and quality of the food"
The Capetonian - Halal
"The hotel is good, but the bathrooms need renovation, and there's no swimming pool. However, the staff were extremely helpful and attentive; I liked them and their service."
The Trade Boutique Hotel
"This is hands down the top hotel we stayed at in South Africa. We were quite anxious as first time travellers to South Africa (which after the trip we realised we needn't be), and the wonderful staff at Trade Hotel eased us in. My dad loved them so much he still speaks fondly of them. They went all out to ensure our comfort, giving us tips on the safe and fuss free places to visit, where not to go (including a market we had wanted to visit), and World Cup tips [included in the price it seems ;)] . Hotel was highly securely, super safe, and as you can see from the photos, very aesthetic. We walked everywhere. Thank you for this most wonderful stay."
Cape Town Lodge Hotel
"I stayed at this hotel expecting four-star quality, but unfortunately, it was far from that. The toilet flush was broken, and the bathroom tap was stuck, which is simply unacceptable in a hotel of this category. These kinds of issues speak volumes about how poorly managed the place is. To make matters worse, we were woken up every single morning by housekeeping, even after we had specifically asked for the room to be cleaned after 10 a.m. Despite our request, the cleaning staff knocked on the door early every day, disturbing our rest. I do not recommend this hotel. It clearly suffers from terrible management. 3 out of 10."
Lagoon Beach Hotel & Spa
"The hotel is large, the facilities are a bit old, but the location is good"
Cresta Grande Cape Town
"The location of the hotel is excellent. The food and service at the restaurant were fantastic!"

Mojo Hotel & Market
"Nice hotel with great location. Mojo Market is right next to it and that makes it super convenient for food, drinks and live music most nights. The staff is super friendly, helpful and truly make you feel welcome. The only suggestion would be to let people know there's construction currently happening right next to the hotel which makes it a little noisy. Perhaps the hotel could offer rooms for a cheaper rate for the inconvenience. TVs might need checking as well. I was not able to use mine at all. Overall it was a great stay though. Thank you Mojo! 🫶🏼"
The Bantry Aparthotel by Totalstay
"Excellent location with small pool. Room with great view. Good service and nice breakfast. Price a bit to high."
The Tropicana Hotel
"The hotel is adorable, there is a full separate bedroom and a full kitchen. The location is superb, I can seriously live here."
Three Anchor Heart
"Beautiful little space that managed to pack everything you would need into an apt into surprisingly small square footage!! Comfortable and quiet from steeet noise, but unfortunately there were other guests celebrating a birthday into the late evening. Took some time to get through to management to organise an early bag drop, which was more convoluted than expected but otherwise the location is stellar and pretty safe as a solo female."
The Westin Cape Town
"Nice hotel"
Pepperclub Hotel
"Nice and clean the hotel is dope , and the workers are very nice"
Pullman Cape Town City Centre
"Room: spacious, clean and comfortable. Our room was on the highest floor and it was quiet. If you’re traveling with an elderly, just be cautious as the shower floor is extremely slippery. One downside is that water pressure and temperature is not very stable. Location: situated in the heart of CBD, it’s a fairly safe area. Parking available for hotel guests and shuttle available to V&A Waterfront Staff: Front desk and lobby staff are friendly and welcoming. Security at the hotel and parking were also very friendly and helpful. Most staff at the restaurant were not as friendly (most but still a few staff was friendly and helpful and provided great service) Staff often forget guests’ drink orders as 2 days in a row, we did not get our tea during breakfast. I also ordered a cappuccino while waiting in front or the coffee machine however I was forgotten as well. I was better off making my own coffee. Breakfast: They served standard American style breakfast with selection of fruits, pastries and salads. Their hashbrowns were my favourites! If only the food can be a little different everyday, we stayed there for 4 days and had the same food everyday. Overall, we enjoyed our stay room but restaurant staffs’ service and attitude can be improved."
The Capital Mirage
"Free parking. Good breakfast with beautiful views of Cape Town from the 15th floor."
Blackbrick Hotel Gardens - Cape Town
"What a great funky style hotel in Gardens Cape atown. BlackBrick has done it again...turned a disused office block into a New York style hotel designed for young and old alike. Whether a business person or a tourist, the apartment style living gives you multiple options. And of course the view is a dream. The lift was crazy as it has two sides...that's not the funniest it stops on 2 floors ... one indicating East and one West. I'm curious to talk to the engineer who had to design that...the only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because there were no plugs next to the bed to charge my phone and it had to be charged in the kitchen area. I have children who live across the world and like to be available at all times to them that was the only draw back so bring an extension cord when you visit. Small price to pay for a great spot "
ONEHUNDRED on M - Fluent Serviced Apartments
"The location is excellent, and the security is top-notch. The basic amenities in the room are very sufficient. Everything was satisfactory, except for the rather small sink in the bathroom. The staff were also very helpful."
A Sunflower Stop Backpackers
"Very friendly staff and a lovely mix of patrons made the stay more than memorable."
Signal Hill Lodge
"Very nice day time manager. So kind. Taxi will 50% chance get lost each time. Night time manager was harder to work with, more rude."
Cape Town Marriott Hotel Crystal Towers
"Very Disappointing Stay We booked our stay over six months in advance and specifically requested connecting or adjacent rooms, but this was not accommodated upon check-in, with no prior notice. Our first room had a broken toilet bowl — tilted, creaking, and the flush did not work. Despite reporting it twice, the issue persisted until late at night. When we requested a room change after returning from dinner exhausted from our flight, the front desk initially refused, citing full occupancy. Only after escalating in person did they finally move us to another floor, away from my sister’s room. It then took two nights before the hotel could move her closer, which was inconvenient as we were sharing items. The bathroom design was also extremely poor — an open shower area with no door or curtain, offering zero privacy and making it freezing to shower. This was not stated anywhere on the website. Both rooms (708 and 704) also had unstable water temperature, alternating between hot and cold every few minutes. Even after offering to pay for an upgrade, we were told the hotel was fully booked. Overall, a very disappointing experience with poor maintenance, communication, and room design — far below the standard expected from a Marriott property."
Protea Hotel Cape Town Waterfront Breakwater Lodge
"Great location, lovely staff and feels very safe. Would recommend."
Camps Bay Retreat Hotel
"We absolutely loved our stay. The retreat was so calming and the perfect place to relax. We felt very welcomed even with a young baby. Would highly recommend. we can’t wait to return."
The Onyx Apartment Hotel by Newmark
"Accessible to the meeting place."
