"The room was fantastic! It was very spacious, with a huge bed (looked like two single beds pushed together), a small living area, and a little balcony. Everything in the room was spotless!! The bedding was dry and soft. There were staff at the door to help bring luggage to the room, but we didn't have any cash for a tip, which I felt bad about! The hotel breakfast was plentiful and halal, which was perfect for us. For this price, getting a four-star hotel in Cape Town is incredible value for money! Highly recommend!"

"Disappointing — Not the Taj Experience I Expected I stayed one night at Taj Cape Town and, having stayed, worked, and studied at other Taj properties worldwide, I left feeling that this hotel does not deliver the signature “Taj” experience. Location: Excellent — centrally located and convenient for business and sightseeing. Rooms: Very good. The guest room was well-appointed, comfortable, and met the standard I expect from a five-star property. No complaints on accommodations. Food & Beverage: Below expectations for a Taj. The breakfast buffet was serviceable but average — acceptable for a quick meal, but nothing memorable in terms of variety, presentation, or quality. The on-site Asian restaurant is extremely small (about five tables) and suffers from poor ventilation: the exhaust does not appear to function adequately, so the space quickly fills with an oily cooking smell that lingers and detracts from the dining experience. The food itself was below the quality I would expect from a Taj-branded restaurant. Service & Brand Feel: This is where the hotel most noticeably misses the mark. While staff were professional, the overall atmosphere lacked the warm, polished service and attention to detail that distinguishes other Taj properties I have experienced. It felt more like a standard city hotel operating under the Taj name rather than a hotel delivering the full Taj brand promise. Value: Concerning. The hotel charges approximately INR 2,000 per day for parking — a steep add-on that should be clearly communicated up front and factored into the overall value proposition. Summary: The location and rooms are strong points, but the average breakfast, a small and poorly ventilated Asian restaurant, and an overall absence of the characteristic Taj hospitality leave this property short of expectations. If you are seeking the classic Taj experience, this particular hotel may not meet that standard."

"I had to pay a R1050 for the blankets that were not clean but I think it was when we left but it was not told to me when I book that for that I will pay and my wife did get sick so that was not planned for so yes thats very bad I think I was robbed because if it was something that was Brocken or anything then I will understand but everything was okay when I left just the bedding was Duty"

"Nice hotel with great location. Mojo Market is right next to it and that makes it super convenient for food, drinks and live music most nights. The staff is super friendly, helpful and truly make you feel welcome. The only suggestion would be to let people know there's construction currently happening right next to the hotel which makes it a little noisy. Perhaps the hotel could offer rooms for a cheaper rate for the inconvenience. TVs might need checking as well. I was not able to use mine at all. Overall it was a great stay though. "A stylish new hotel in a good neighborhood. It's beautiful inside, with wonderful, clean rooms featuring pristine white bed linen, towels, and bathrobes. They even made up the full set of bedding on the small sofa bed for our child, as we requested."

"We had a great stay at this place. Location is good - 5 minutes to the quay. There is a stop of the red bus near that is very convenient for the travelers. You have everything in the flat. We didn't expected that there would be cleaning so often. The only thing - it was a bit cold inside in April although there was the heating."

"Next to Beach Road and Regent Road, which is very convenient for walking to supermarkets and cafes. The rooms is very spacious, lovely view, there's Netflix on the TV, but corridor and exterior feels a bit old and dated. No lift service to one of the basements"
