"We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The employees are VERY friendly and helpful. We stored our 4 suitcases for hours and they were safe. Employees helped me load my bags in the taxi. Hotel is clean and not noisy. I stayed on the 7th floor. There are May restaurants around the hotel and you can easily walk to them. Our favorite was the GREEK FISHERMAN. Lovely sun set views. Kitchen has many useful items. We just would had loved a sponge to wash our dishes."

"Disappointing — Not the Taj Experience I Expected I stayed one night at Taj Cape Town and, having stayed, worked, and studied at other Taj properties worldwide, I left feeling that this hotel does not deliver the signature “Taj” experience. Location: Excellent — centrally located and convenient for business and sightseeing. Rooms: Very good. The guest room was well-appointed, comfortable, and met the standard I expect from a five-star property. No complaints on accommodations. Food & Beverage: Below expectations for a Taj. The breakfast buffet was serviceable but average — acceptable for a quick meal, but nothing memorable in terms of variety, presentation, or quality. The on-site Asian restaurant is extremely small (about five tables) and suffers from poor ventilation: the exhaust does not appear to function adequately, so the space quickly fills with an oily cooking smell that lingers and detracts from the dining experience. The food itself was below the quality I would expect from a Taj-branded restaurant. Service & Brand Feel: This is where the hotel most noticeably misses the mark. While staff were professional, the overall atmosphere lacked the warm, polished service and attention to detail that distinguishes other Taj properties I have experienced. It felt more like a standard city hotel operating under the Taj name rather than a hotel delivering the full Taj brand promise. Value: Concerning. The hotel charges approximately INR 2,000 per day for parking — a steep add-on that should be clearly communicated up front and factored into the overall value proposition. Summary: The location and rooms are strong points, but the average breakfast, a small and poorly ventilated Asian restaurant, and an overall absence of the characteristic Taj hospitality leave this property short of expectations. If you are seeking the classic Taj experience, this particular hotel may not meet that standard."

"The room was fantastic! It was very spacious, with a huge bed (looked like two single beds pushed together), a small living area, and a little balcony. Everything in the room was spotless!! The bedding was dry and soft. There were staff at the door to help bring luggage to the room, but we didn't have any cash for a tip, which I felt bad about! The hotel breakfast was plentiful and halal, which was perfect for us. For this price, getting a four-star hotel in Cape Town is incredible value for money! Highly recommend!"

"We only stayed for one night and checked in late in the evening. The check in process was quite simple and fast, they also provided the bed for a baby upon request (we forgot to book it in advance). The breakfast was really nice, lots of options and great coffee!"

Always up for a conversation amd willing to make anything amd everything more convenient for the guests. Rennia and Alice, ebullient and light-hearted, i felt the care and meticulous nature of their work through all they did, and the smiles they provided, thank you! The entire staff, quite warm and accommodating! Clean room, aesthetically modern and quaint. 100% recommended, convenient location for all your needs!"

"Staying at Marly for three nights is expensive, mainly because it is in the heart of the camp's beach, surrounded by restaurants and bars. After crossing the road, it is a beach. The so-called mountainside suites are almost the same. Mountain, in many hotels in that area can basically be achieved. "First off, the location right by the beach is absolutely flawless! You get unbeatable sea views, and stepping out means you're right on the sand – super convenient! I'd recommend it to anyone visiting Cape Town, and definitely suggest renting a car as Uber can be quite pricey there. Also, remember to bring a 3-pin international adapter; the hotel sells them but they're very expensive!"
